She greeted the officer with a "Hey there!" So calm and casual. It looked like she was just reporting that her purse was stolen. When I thought my dog went missing, I was sobbing, and frantic. I was a wreck until we found her.

I would fill the car with gas, drive as far away as i could get, and then go find a women's shelter. I suspect SHE KNEW. And her response to that picture, i would've screamed bloody murder and fallen to the floor, and...omg... She was dead! She's finding this out too? The look on Jenn's face throughout the beginning of the body cam before the officer started talking to her is so strange. I can't explain it but it doesn't sit right with me. She's giving off serious guilty vibes. She needs to be charged for offering her daughter up on a silver platter by making her daughter sleep in the bed with Stephan. Who does that?? That is SICK!!!!

Until court comes I have seen nothing that makes me change my mind that she was involved somehow. Her statement that she saw Maddie at “8:00” getting dressed for school when she was already dead is a HUGE tell. May Maddie rest forever in eternal peace. That is because she resented her daughter, she was jealous of her because Stephen would rather be close to her daughter than her. She is messed up in the head and I pray she gets charged too.

It is possible the mother was jealous of her daughter and isn’t upset that she is gone.

My Grandma was so in denial that her stepson abused me she still talks about memories of him when he was little lovingly to me to this day. I've told her over and over since it happened and every time she says "What?? you never told me this!" and i have to tell her Yes, me and my mom BOTH have told you several times and you just say this everytime. 🙄 Last time she said "I wonder how he's doing.." I said "hopefully dead." she looked at me so hurt like she was going to cry. So now I feel guilty. Justice for Madeline. 🙏🏻❤‍🩹🪽

She has never seemed to be devastated by the loss of her sweet little girl. I would be unhinged. At age 13, a girl, growing into young adulthood, needs her privacy. One of the things I appreciated about my parents was their "benign" neglect. They left us alone to do our own thing, and grow into our individuality. They did not sleep with us, and "snuggling" with my dad ended at about age three.

Jennifer’s body language of rocking back and forth is from guilt. Even her laughter is disconnected. Stephen says “that girl has had nothing but love here”, why didn’t he say “Madelyn has been shown love here”, by her name. There’s too much disconnection along with being protective and self comforting.

Sterns voice is creepy, and Jen is to calm to not no nothing!

Is it possible, Jenn dressed like Maddie, she stayed far enough away from that camera and Stephan knew that was the only camera, and they enacted Jenn getting out of the car, pretending to be Maddie, for Stephan's alibi? That's why she quickly corrected him 'black shorts.' she knew she was wearing that? And it's blurry and Jenn looks like a kid, she could pretend to be Maddie getting out of the car?

Stefan Sterns has the oddest way of posturing himself when that detective greeted the mother. What a weirdo

Their entire dialogue is rehearsed! From the very beginning, they repeat the exact same phrases and sentences when asked to describe what happened. * "I dropped her off early. She was snoozing most of the way," * "Close to school but never made it" * "Rummeged in her backpack" Etcetera The whole narrative gets repeated to whomever is asking at the time. It's so in your face that it's crazy. THIS is what makes me think Jenn is involved in some way. She most definitely knows something, that's for sure. And the little pièces de résistance is her claiming she saw Madeline at 8am and knew what she was wearing. Anyway, as always, this is just my opinion on the matter.

I do believe in innocent until proven guilty but the fact that the abuse was going on for yrs and Soto will likely claim she didn’t know or there were no signs of abuse is not believable. As a child of abuse I can tell you, behaviors change, and a child will tell you or attempt to tell you. No way she didn’t know or sense it and if she ignored it, it’s criminal.

Agreed! Not to mention the fact that she never caught them together during all of that time? Didn’t get up for the bathroom, or a drink and check on Maddie? I checked on my kids during the night from baby to teen. I knew what was going on in my house, and I was married to their real dad. That’s what abuse does to you.

What?? All sleep in the same bed!! This is the worst thing I have ever heard that a biological mother allowing her daughter to be in the same & bed! The MOM knows and allowed it!! Put her butt in JAIL! I would not even offer her a plea deal because LE already has enough evidence to lock him up for life! He is exactly where he needs to be and I think men like this should be fixed so their sa will never happen or he will ever be able to use his penis again!!! The mom is so guilty and imo she allowed this to happen by letting them sleep together! She should be charged with mental and physical abuse for pimping her daughter to get her lifestyle! Jen Soto knew exactly what was going on and what happened! Madeline was going to tell someone and get out imo and they both murdered her! What's even more weird is Stephan (I refuse to call him step dad) never typically drove her to school. So.... How did he carry her out to the car if she was already deceased, without ANY witnesses?? Unless maybe he left her inside of his car, overnight, already deceased. Was this mother so busy being an absentee parent that she never saw her ONLY child to say goodnight after her amazing 13th bday party, that she didn't bother attending!!? She should be in jail for neglect at the very very least ... And if the time of death determines that Jenn lied about seeing Madeline the same night of her party and seeing all of her gifts... Then maybe she is more complicit than we all realized. Food for thought 🤔

There were no garages, there were no carports even .. he legit would have had to carry a 13yr old girl, a young woman.... Dead weight in the daylight hours when ppl leaving for work and school.... I just do not see that happening. Ppl got doorbell cameras ... I think he may have left her in the car over night. I just don't see how else he could have done that. Maybe he stuffed her bed and when Mom got home, told her she was already asleep??? There is something more here and I watch enough true crime to know it.

Same thing Chris Watts was doing in his interviews with the local media. I’m just having a hard time believing that the Mom didn’t know anything about what happened to her daughter.

Mom’s secret must be worse than the stepdad’s. That’s why she had to help him cover things up. He’s got something on her. She was benefitting from the abuse somehow. Either that or facilitating it. I heard he had a discord account. I wouldn’t doubt it if he streamed the abuse or sold CP content and they made money off of it. Notice her reaction when they asked about the laptop being trackable. Or could it be that she killed Madeline out of jealousy (or because Madeline maybe threatened to speak up) and they are covering it up?

This is so sad.. I always wish I could comfort these kids an give them a safe home if only they could of made it out alive. Protect our kids everyone you can't trust anyone

Madeline must have told Stern on the way to school that day that she was gonna report him for all the rape he did to her so he killed her.

There was no ‘on the way to school that day’. That’s Stephan’s lie. It has been stated by law enforcement that she was murdered in the early morning hours, I believe they said around 5 a.m.

There was no ride to school. He threw her school backpack and laptop away before they would have done a school run. Maddie wouldnt have gotten in the car without those things for school

The mom does not look all there at all.

I don't even believe the whole "Maddy ashamed of car model" bull crap so is dropped off where the police will conveniently be unable to see her actually getting out of the car, let alone be dropped off. Maddy comes across as a very sweet, obedient and empathetic child and wouldn't want to hurt her mothers feelings by saying how embarrassed she is of the family vehicle. That was a lie made up that BOTH OF THEM ARE USING in order to deceive law enforcement they dropped her off when in fact they didn't. And absolutely confirms it to me that mom is complicit with the lies and therefore culpable in the crime.

Everytime i see the picture with madeline on the left, jenn in the middle and "IT" on the right, i always think where are his hands. What a sick person. Not stealing from someone and helping them look for it. Its disturbing. 🤢🤮😒

They send out automated calls/text/email within 30 minutes in the US. Its done automatically, so there is no way they didn’t call Jenn. Just ANOTHER LIE from Jenn

It bothered me too. He even said 110-112lbs after Jenn said 110lba and he was first to say she has a beauty mark on her face. It was so weird!

The mom comforting him in the tv interview was so strange to watch.

The way she looks up and right makes me think she’s trying to REMEMBER what to say. Seems odd.

It seems like he’s been around since Matty was six yrs old or 7… I don’t doubt one bit- he’s been messing with her since before the videos he took! That’s just when he ramped up his abuse to higher insane levels .
