I really like how they made Miiko out to be an annoying joke character in episode 1 only to reveal later that that's just her made-up persona and the real her is a wonderful mother chasing her dream. It made me feel kind of bad about my first impression of her. 1:40 She painted it with Kiui. There's a scene in the first episode of them painting it (though you can't see Kiui's face) and Mahiru shows Kano a photo on her (not)Twitter of the two of them standing in front of the finished mural. Another small related detail is that the mural was a gift from the Watase Atelier of Painting (Watase being Kiui's family name).
This is definitely one of my favorites this season its too good😭
