Jelly Roll is not somebody I would've found by myself, I mostly listen to old 90s rap and heavy metal, but my uncle showed me Jelly Roll a few months ago saying that he's his favorite rapper, and I thought his music was pretty good, not something I'd listen to on my own but definitely not bad at all. After seeing a few of his interview clips however, I fucking love this guy, he's so naturally hilarious and down to earth, he seems like somebody you'd want to be friends with. Definitely gonna check out more of his stuff.

Before everyone and they brother knew who jellyroll was I knew him due to preforming at the Gathering 2012 I instantly loved him and have ever since I wasnt able to go but several of my friends did and sent me a video I asked them who that dude was I went to KZread there he was I was instantly in love with him and still am I still play all his songs I finally got to go see him live in July I was sick the whole show but I pushed myself and didn’t let my bad health issues keep me from something I’ve wanted to do for years it was one of the best concerts I’ve been too I’m glad I got to see him a small venue in BG Ky, one day ima meet him and his beautiful wife in person before I leave this horrid earth I’ve made it a mission to see them, hopefully my health doesn’t keep me from doing so, I plan on going to the Gathering next year some how some way I want to take my grown kids show them what the gathering is about so once I’m gone they can take my ashes throw some of them there! I been a Juggalo since 1998 & really knew I was one once I got to go to Ohio to the gathering! I’ll be the sober lame old broad since I been clean n sober now going on 17 yrs clean from dope and 14 yrs off booze but I can still enjoy life and going to the gathering sober o just wanna show my kids what it’s about and be there for their 1st time going since they don’t have to sneak and do things like I had too as a kid since my granny n foster parents didn’t allow certain things that they didn’t understand! They thought everything was the devil and coming from the Bible Belt area of Ky they just are closed minded here i am not raising my kids up to think they have to sneak n lie or hide anything about themselves or what they do like I had to! So come he’ll or high water I will be taking them as long as I’m alive to the gathering!
