one of my favorites songs ever, also.

This is one of my favorite songs ever.

about the same fidelity as the 7" version, ha. I saw them open for J.E.W. around that time and this song blew my mind. bought the record, played it to death, and gave zero fucks about how shitty it sounded.

Thank you for uploading this. Makes me want to pull out the record player and 7" to hear it in all its glory.

@@TheRisingTide89 at least they’re liking good music. Who gives a shit how they find it. I’ll tell you this. They don’t like it just be hip or because the cool kids like it. He genuinely likes it. I seem to remember things like when At the Drive In put out In/Casino/Out and a handful of people saw them live and raves about it..fast forward to when Relationship of Command came out and all of a sudden I’m being told “I was at that show at the Pontiac” by 60 different people, when I was actually at that show and there was like 25 people there. Or all those kids who LOVED Reggie and the Full Effect because all the girls they had crushes on loved that shit. Or how I saw Modest Mouse in a basement in Philly around the time of This is a Long Drive, and now I have hipster kids trying to talk down to me about “the good old Modest Mouse” when they’re referring to an album that came out 8 years after I first saw them, and 4 years after I think they started declining. At least this kid isn’t trying to impress some girl with star tattoos on her shoulders and black horn rimmed glasses that she doesn’t need.

been trying to find out how to play it on guitar for years, i'm like 90 percent sure this song's not standard tuning, but correct me if i'm wrong. finger placements in live vids of this song are too wacky to be standard i'm pretty sure.

​@@eijlha interesting, i'm still ironing a few other parts out by ear. crazy how nobody other than joey probably knows the exact chords, then i found out everyone from the band came from berkley, there's some real complicated shit thrown in there for a emo band. jejune was definitely one of the best, they should've been so much bigger
