@Aashnaa that’s very weird actually, coz I’ve never heard of such rumors and as far as I’m concerned, they are completely baseless. Jamie’s 7 year contract was due to expire in 2019 and she decided not to renew it. In August 2019 it was announced that she is leaving the company and at the same time her comeback under jype was announced. The song - Stay beautiful was released somewhere around the day of expiration of her contract - they chose this date specifically, as it would be her last song released under jype (it was meant to be as a parting gift in some way). Her leaving the company was as transparent and clean and amicable as it could be (coz they obviously woudn’t bother to release her song if they have kicked her out). There is simply not even a hint of them to part ways on bad terms. So I dare to assume that the rumours were either spread by people who know nothing about her or they just want to talk shit about her, or both.

... Can we please recognize Jamie has transformed into the artist she wants to be? Can we stop always mentioning JYPE and Jamie in the same breath? She’s moved on. Maybe it’s time everyone else did as well. She’s now with WMK and officially released Numbers as well as handful of other releases like For a Minute, Colors, Moonlight, Witch, Waves (featuring), Cupid (featuring), Teenage in a Closet (featuring), & multiple OSTs. Let’s move forward. She “graduated” from her former company. Let’s celebrate this Jamie.

I heard about her a long time ago on After School Club(?) and I remember that her singing style was not as polished compared to what it is now. And now that I’m watching this video I’m literally blown away. She became an artist somewhere in that time frame and we should definitely celebrate it.

@@altoineta Yes also on par with AKMU Suhyun, Katie Kim, Bark Yerin, Minseo there are so many good vocalist in Kpop but it mostly directed to idol in the group.

이 노래가 내가 들었던 어떤 Jamie의 노래보다 자기 노래 같다. 그 점이 아쉽기도 하다. Jamie는 목소리가 보물이라서 기계음보다는 저런 악기반주가 더 어울림. 게다가 악동 같고 당당하고 도발적인 표현력까지... 멋지다.

She only opens her mouth a little yet her vocals are so powerful, this was an amazing cover- vocals and background instrumental players were just awesome

I was shocked by her interpretation of the song. Look how quietly she started singing…never imagined this song sounded so cool in that mood… She killed it without even trying 😭 this is the real talent seriously

가창력은 둘째 치고 제스쳐 표정까지 완벽함. 가만히 서서 부르는데도 심심한 느낌이 전혀 없네
