Jeht 2 talk round

Спорт

Cotic's Jeht 2 Trail MTB is a Yorkshire designed, Scottish built, steel frame masterpiece with a muscular ride, sorted suspension, sweet spot geometry and its killer value and eco friendly too. Find out more detail and back story as I chat to Cotic founder Cy Turner about his latest design.

That's a beautiful bike. Not going to break any time soon by the looks of it, too.

Lovely bikes. 🇬🇧 made, can't beat that. Ok, the price is heavy, but i think your getting a good deal considering the points mentioned in the video. I can't afford but i hope there is people that can because losing this brand would be awful 😞.

About the only change I would like to see now is the dropper post cable hole that is basically a hole drilled in the seat tube. A lot of other manufacturers have something easier to install the cable. it might seem to be a minor thing, but it's frustrating to work on.

I really, really fancy one of these ...however I also have a knackered old car and a house that needs stuff doing and a wife who, for some weird reason, prioritises those things before my need for a new bike. All i can say is .....damnit.why can't those lottery nunbers come up. Great video. 😎

I'm trying to ignore the fact that I've never spent that much on a car, but I'm really looking forward to visiting Cotic next Friday to try and decide between a Flaremax and a Jeht. Test ride booked. I've currently got two Cotics in my two bike stable - mk3 Soul & an early Escapade. Love what Cotic do and how they work - much like Hebtroco... but pricier.

Looks lovely. If it’s half as good as my FlareMax it will be epic. Bike prices are nuts at the moment, a GX build of the new Cotic Solaris will run to nearly £4K, meanwhile Planet-X have just advertised a complete GX steel Huntsman for £899!

I'll be after a new bike next year, and I love this one. I already have watched loads of videos of cotic bikes but when I went to their website, the prices shocked me. I can't afford to pay that much premium for a bike, no matter how much I would love to support UK brands. 😢

UK manufacturing will probably always have a premium I’m afraid. Best I can suggest is keep checking their outlet page for ex demo bikes etc.

Get the frame if you can and build up over time that's what I did with my last bike

    Frame only option? Price?

Yes, currently £2199. I don't generally quote prices in the videos because they nearly always change while the video is still live. For example Jeht prices actually changed between shooting this last week and the launch yesterday so they'd have been out of date already

The selling point is UK built 🤔 It's not worth the money, there is a mass of better bikes for far cheaper everywhere 😁
