Jeffrey Dahmer (Pt. 2) First Court Appearance - Original Newscast Footage

Jeffery Dahmer speaks at his indictment. Part 2 of 4 This is the original Milwaukee newscast of Jeffrey Dahmer's first courtroom indictment. I finally uploaded part two and it was worth the wait. Jeffrey speaks and exits. Also, notice how surreal it is to see two newscasters with no screen graphics. Shocking moments are the issues over eleven skulls and the bail amount set. July 25th, 1991. Next Pt. 3, Tina Spivey, witness to Konerak Sinthesinphone's kidnapping, original interview Milwaukee interview.

    not to mention the kind of attention they receive. There are several other serial killers that are very similar to dahmer but because they don't look like him they don't receive half the attention that the media gave him and the case in general; we all know that deep down one of the reasons why the case became this big was because he was a handsome and good looking man.

    A detective gave that shirt to Dahmer from his son who didn't want it anymore, I know its sick to say but I'm sure that shirt would've made a lot of money of eBay, what makes Dahmer more interesting to other serial killers is how calm and respectful he was in court, you would think someone who commuted such monstrosity would be wild but Dahmer knows and is remorseful which makes him even more of a mystery, how could he be sane??? Horrific!!

    He was remorseful indeed...why?? Dahmer wasn't a sadist as most serial killers are, he hated killing but it was a means to an end, it sounds fkd but I've studied these guys to the extreme, if dahmer could've found a partner to share his fantasies there would've been no killing but he lacked the social skills, he's a murderer no doubt but look at his action compared to sadists like Bundy and gacy who keep the pain going in court while necrophiles like dahmer ask for forgiveness , I'm not trying to praise this sick fuck but there's a difference

  • @lesterclaypool1

    @lesterclaypool1

    +joseph montague I think Dahmer suffered some kind of psychological break and that's what makes him different. He could have toyed with the police and the victim's families like a motherfucker, and would have were he a psychotic killer. He did everything in his power not to re-offend after the first murder, even made moves to confess a couple of times when the guilt was overwhelming, then wakes up beside the body of a young man he doesn't remember killing? I think I'd have no option but to lose my damn mind if that happened. He likely felt powerless to stop it from that point forward. His early interview with Nancy Glass of Inside Edition shows his shock at his own actions. He appreciates how bizarre and abnormal his actions were. I doubt there was ever a time when he didn't. I think had the world media not been in Milwaukee on an unrelated story when the news broke it probably would have remained a small local story and they would have put Jeff Dahmer in a hospital instead of making the gesture to the families of finding him sane and guilty.

    +joseph montague that's not right that if he would have got permanent partner he would not kill.he definitely would kill.that's something programmed in him that he couldnt stop.many ppl don't have close friends or they lack social skills like dahmer but they don't kill.

    People saying 'He is so sexy' give me the creeps but some of the people mentioning his looks have a point.He isgood looking and whether its remorse or acting, he looks like a nice guy. This is what is so scary about him, the fact that because of the way he acts and looks people would have been probably quick to trust him and would have been attracted to him. It would be easier if he was an ugly, really weird ,obviously deranged guy. But he isn't what you'd think a serial killer would be like.

    totally agree!! just like with ted bundy, they are so popular because no one suspected them, when you think of a killer or a bad guy, you don’t think of a young, attractive, charismatic guy... you think of a creepy old man trippy on drugs telling you to get in his van. you’ve probably walked past a killer at some point in your life and haven’t even realized it... their psyche is always so interesting to research and learning about them is extremely trippy...

    It is always discussed whether serial killers are monsters or they are also victim (mental illness) etc... Although nearly all serial killers have mental issues, knowing what is right or wrong is the key point to decide whether they are sane or insane. I can easily say that lots of serial killers are evil but as far as Jeffrey Dahmer is concerned, he is seriously ill. I am not saying he should not be punished, of course he deserved the punishment because he had the ability to understand the actions he made were wrong. But at the same time he is ill. I always feel sad for his victims and their beloved ones and families. Moreover I have read the book of his father "a father's story" which makes me feel sad about Jeffrey and also his family. I believe that they are also victim too. I appreciate their helps to scientist to study Jeffrey's illness. Jeffrey answered all questions honestly after got jailed. You can see his interviews, how he was honest and brave about answers even the questions are very intimate. He never wanted to get out of jail. He pleaded guilty immediately. He gave full confession about every crimes he made with full details. On the other hands, lets say Ted Bundy. He never showed real remorse. He never pleaded guilty and take years during courts which causes lots of time, pain and waste of million dollars even after he caught. After he got the capital punishment, he blamed everything except than himself. I believe he was a real monster. On the other hand Jeffrey said I am the only guilty one. Not society, not my family or friends. I wished he could have got mental help from professionals before his first crime(18 y.o.). It would be the best especially for victims and their families.
