yep the closest Morphe store to me is over and hour away. I would only go there to get Jeffree's products since if I really wanted Morphe I could just go to my local Ulta. I have no need to drive to that store anymore since they dont carry Jeffree's brand.

My favorite lipstick is morphe so I'm sad (mega matte, great red with no lip liner needed for an understated 1920s esque red lip). Bought 3 for the road I guess I'll have to find a new fave.

@@elainapowell5237 My favorite red lip was actually from Lime Crime. I don’t really use lip liner unless I’m doing a like mix of 2+ colors and the lipstick didn’t really need it. Shades were so cute and the palettes are so unique. The hair dye I feel is good depending on the color. I used to have red/pink mixed hair and I had a specific dye that I used but I tried one of their like pink/red colors and it was definitely a good thing to use as a touch up when redying my hair to not look faded. Idk what it looks like on hair thats undyed.

Jeffree was packing malls across the country for Morphe! I mean I seen Paula Abdul at a mall when I was. a kid, and that's what that ish felt like. Of course he brought a lot of money thru there.

Ngl JS has quality makeup because he cares about his products! Unlike other influencers who does it for the money and not give af. So many of them had issues but JS is still going on strong. That’s why he’s on top in this makeup industry. He’s smart and always tries to come up with something unique. Even though his personality is messed up at times. Any time I went to the Morphe store in the Mall of America, everyone surrounded the Jeffree Star displays, that's what they were buying, and the energy in that store was high. Now when I stop, the store is hardly busy at all. Even on the busier mall days.

It's already at TJMAXX guys! Been there for about a week already 😉

I don't think a chain of permanent stores would last too long for him. His demographic is mainly younger girls and women who like campy/themed makeup like his Blueblood themed line, Cremated line etc. If Star had a store in a mall that also had other beauty stores, most women would choose the one that featured many different brands over just his alone. He's not as popular as you think, and outside of KZread the average woman doesn't even know who he is. Does he even have enough products to fill an entire store? I don't use his products or visit his website so I'm not sure. He seems like a pop up store type brand or maybe a small store or two in LA and NYC, tops. Judging by his style, his store would be loud and colorful, in terms of looks, and there are millions of women who prefer more mature, classier brands. I can see many makeup consumers passing it right by on that alone. It's intimidating to women who aren't into that loud "look at me" style.

Never stepped into a store. Bought some brushes when they had a big Christmas sale a couple years back and bought Jeffree's collab with them. Beyond that never bought anything else.

I think where they went wrong & “I maybe wrong” this is JUST an opinion guys! BUT I think they screwed up because they had a lot of ppl learn about their brand THROUGH Jeffree Star. By collaborating with him & ppl were like “well who’s Morphe?” After looking for Jeffree’s stuff with them. But they thought James Charles was going to be “another” Jeffree Star, so felt like there wasn’t any risk of losing new potential customers. But whenever they stopped being able to sell their products & get clout through Jeffree because ppl just weren’t as interested or pulled in by Charles. Had they collaborated with BOTH than they’d have been liked & followed & shopped by the ppl who stumbled on their products by wanting & looking at them.

yes .that was morphes downfall ,they stabbed jeffery in the back, morphe was in my mall after they got rid of jefferry the store was dead they closed this year. i stand with jeffery.

Oh well. Morphie did it to themselves. What goes around comes around.

It was their biggest mistake. Excuse my French but they fucked up by parting ways with Jeffree Star. That's one of the main things in my opinion that people went to the Morphy store for and that's just my observation from going a few times I went for Jeffree Star products or even just to look at them in person. I don’t know anything about makeup drama but I’ve seen a lot of people, including actual watercolor artists review his stuff and everyone has only ever had great things to say about his makeup and the quality of it and the pigments etc. so obviously it’s a great product. They only have negative things to say about his personality because he has love it or hate it attitude. But he’s obviously very good at what he does, silly for any company to let that get in the way of business.

This is why if I ever won the lotto I still intend to live the way I'm living no big house no fancy cars no trips..same house same car till it dies lol because big things sometimes don't last forever and too many people rush to buying stuff to impress others instead of be smart with money you never know when you could lose your job or God knows what else without warning it can go just stop..

Who told them to open a crap ton of stores in the era of online shopping and new delivery methods. The malls are a dying breed. Sad but true. The Star and the J were their cows sad but true.

I work for the bankruptcy unit in the state of Missouri, and just because a company filed bankruptcy doesn’t mean they’re going out of business or anything. It all depends on what chapter of bankruptcy they’re filing under. A lot of companies file bankruptcy just to redistribute their funds and it’s actually a smart move on their end.
