I’ve worked In The industry for a while now for many big brands and this Shane launch is unprecedented. James’ mini pallete is 5$ cheaper than his big one. So teqnically the bigger one is better value. EDIT: where I come from (Britain) the big is 39£ and the small is 34£. Honestly this is my unpopular opinion: I still believe that James Charles Palette is the best value and varied color palette. I kinda like the idea with a small one because you can carry it easily like in your purse. For the most of us there is no reason to buy a small one if you have a big one. Idk why so much drama that’s going on in the beauty community like I am just here wanting to buy good products for who ever it’s sold from. In the end of the day all them are battling against who has the most sold palette or any makeup product. It’s all about the money and we are simply just swayed over.

If James isn’t communicating with the company that he’s partnered with then it puts Morphe in a bad spot. They’re obligated to work with him and work around him. So if he’s putting things together last minute then they’re in the dark with other ventures they may want to plan.

It's not. People just like to find reasons to complain. The way your inbox works, the majority of people saw the second email first anyway. They sent out the correction faster than it takes to watch a KZread video. I feel worse for the person who actually won.. I imagine they were pretty doubtful and confused on if they should believe it.

I feel like Morphe doesnt put effort in their works when it comes to James Charles. They work with him for its sake but you can not see any type of effort etc

Cara they haven’t even said the price plus it’s expensive because some of the ingredients are from far away that are kinda pricey since it’s good quality

honestly, like he said in his launch video, if he did anything else, he would be cheating customers cause the first palette was so perfect (sarcasm, and a lot of it)............... they could have just stopped production of the large palette and announce that it would be made smaller from that point on and then make another palette. In my mind, the mini is cheating customers and waisting Morphe's time and money cause they had to pay upfront the costs of making those palettes and if they don't all sell, they lost profit.

The only extra large thing about james charles large palette would be it’s price

I bought the mini only because as a makeup artist (aka working on actual clients) it’s perfect because I can just bring the one palette and use it for any job. The original one is way too bulky for my kit though, so this is perfect.

I bought the mini palette today 🤷🏽‍♂️ Ooooh, but I’ll be shook if James releases another palette in November too... omg, SHOOK! ... but I doubt that’s gonna happen 😒 I’d like to see a highlighter or lip collection from James or maybe a neon + glitter palette to compliment his original palette or just do extensions of his original palette focusing on variations of specific colors... like a red and purple palette, a green and blue palette, a yellow and orange palette, and a complete neutral palette 🤔

James has had P L E N T Y of time in the light and his pallette had its big moment. Morphe for sure did the right thing! It's Shane's turn to FINALLY get the recognition and time to shine and feel amazing!

I love that they have mini palettes that are the same! I would love ❤️ to have mini palettes. But I could never even afford to TRY the ones I’ve wanted to. Bottom line affordability, portability need to fit everything I can without having an extra big bag !!!!

The mini is $26 and not sold out. since I didn’t buy the first one I might actually buy it.

The mini launch was not a mess its simply a different option available for people so ofc it wasn't going to sell out if people already had the budget to accommodate James's first palette
