I would love to own a truck like this very nice.
First truck I ever drove was my great-grandfathers 71 F250 Camper Special. A candy apple red 2wd, no power steering, no power brake, radio delete unit with a 360. I was eight years old when I was first offered to drive all over the farm with my grandfather riding shotgun and my great-grandfather sitting on the tailgate. It was hard for me to steer through some of the tighter sections despite the large steering wheel. My grandpa quipped that it had "Armstrong power steering". I didn't get it at the time, but well played grandpa, well played. Miss those days. The truck had 30,000 miles on it at the time, but had been a farm truck is whole life, and it looked the part. It fort brought to a shop to get the king pins replaced. The shop managed to break the I beams and was unable to find parts, so was towed home with no front suspension. There it sat for five or six years. Some parts ended up getting sold and eventually it got junked. Wish I could get it back. I still carry it's original key on my key chain. Dang, what a flood of memories!
That is gorgeous 😍 I'm a mopar guy but I love those old bump side fords. My uncle bought a new one in 1972 and he still has it in good condition. 390 2wd
Absolutely gorgeous truck ! But to be honest.. I kinda liked the before pics when it was faded paint and had that old patina . A truck you can put to work and not be afraid to take in the bush for a load of firewood .
great truck awesome job the stockish look is perfect
Gorgeous truck. Old school is cool. I like the picture at 6:52 with the truck and the red barn behind it. Beautiful.
Beautiful!
Amazing truck! Job well done!
She’s a beaut, Clark!
Very nice thank you!
Sweet ride!
It's beautiful!
Spectacular
Beautiful pickup & thx for sharing!
Sweet truck.
Love it. A real Truck like they used to be. Not a bunch of extra crap on it either.
Gorgeous truck. Good job! I have a 1977 F-150 Ranger 4x4 short bed flare side about the same condition as yours was when you started. Hopefully I can eventually get it as nice as yours!
thanks for sharing brings such great inspiration
Beautiful
Great job! Fantastic!
Love. Love. Old ford trucks. Anything ford. I bleed blue.
Nicely Done ✔️
Nothing like the sound of an FE ford through dual exhaust!
:) Restaracion Perfect .Bravo ✓
Well done sir..she's absolutely beautiful. The only thing I would have done differently is left the headlights more original looking..But I'm not criticizing your choices at all just my opinion..I love these old trucks. The first vehicle I ever drove in my life was my grandfathers long bed 72 with a 390 two barrel C6 tranny and posi 410 rear diff..It was a hoss as I'm sure yours is..His was two wheel drive but it was a true two wheel drive. This video brings back wonderful memories for me. Thank you for sharing your exquisite truck..God bless you sir.
Way back in my college days, I drove one of these--a '71 model instead of a '70. The grill was about the only difference. The F-100 was tough, but it had many shortcomings, even compared to the competing GM and Dodge 1/2 ton 4x4's at the time. No power steering option, drum front brakes, no automatic transmission option, and--maybe the worst shortcoming--only a single speed transfer case. The 360 V8 was the biggest engine option and the engine was well-known for having early valve guide failures--the ones on my truck were failing at 43K miles, despite the truck being rigorously maintained. Many of that generation of trucks with 360's wound up getting the much better 390 V8 swapped into them. By '74, I had switched to GM pickups and I did not buy another Ford vehicle for 15 years. Times change--I have not bought a GM vehicle for nearly 20 years now.
Gorgeous... 😍😍
Nice weapon. Well done.
La Ford Pick Up F.250 1970.Roja. Franklin Larreal Varela- Venezuela.10/04/2024.
Wow, what a restoration. I would take her down to Texas. And in Between Dallas and San Antonio. Just put the for sale sign up on her. She would be gone in 30 minutes.
I like original vehicles no huge tires or lift kits.
Nice my 1st vehicle was a Ford 1976 f-100 wish I never sold it.
Anybody know what this truck sold for?
Nice build!! I am building the same truck , except a 72. Love the ride of the f100. Where did you get your rubber body mounts?? No one seems to make them for f100.

There's a Series 5 4x4 permanently parked in front of a local BBQ as an advertisement .....makes me sad knowing how rare 4x4's were back then... I own a 67 2x4 F-250.
Is this truck for sale?
