Okay, this is embarrassing. Was watching this, singing along, and loving it. Then, a thought ran through my head..."Man, there's a lot of old people in that audience". Well, the song ended and I got up to raid the fridge, and happened to look in a mirror. And damned if I wasn't looking old too! 67 now, was around when this first came out. Loved it then...love it now. ELO sound as new and fresh as ever. And judging from the younguns I saw in the vid, they're grabbing a whole new, younger audience, with their timeless music.

What a crock of made-up sh-t. Of course, modern well-presented live music sounds good. But in no way does this group sound better at some concert than in their masterful studio recordings. In the studio, the sound is presented exactly as the musicians intend it, and ELO did a great job with their records. Also, this band is not even the real ELO. So get a clue, you clowns.

@@aliceshade6031 When classical musicians are involved they can work from charts because they can read music. I remember a friend of mine having a girlfriend who ws a classically-trained pianist. She told me she could play a piece just from reading the sheet music and I challenged her by picking a music-book from the shelf and opening it at a random page. She proceeded to play it there and then and it was a fairly complicated sounding piece. She apologised afterwards for her sloppy rendition but it sounded incredible to me! I bet Jeff Lynne gave the string players charts of his arrangements and they got it together fairly quickly. What a gift to have!

The great Jeff Lynne is still with US and will be on Tour in the Summer of 2019 (Toronto Scotiabank Arena July 18 2019)... Let's enjoy his greatness while he is still alive....Jeff Lynne is the most talented Music God ever. He is 71 and his voice is Gold. All his live concerts sound as good if not better than the original recordings...Not many bands and musicians can match that. Just have a listen from Jeff Lynne's ELO at Wembley Stadium June 24 2017. Jeff Lynne's ELO 2019 Tour will focus on the US and Canada for several fantastic Concerts...I just bought Jeff Lynne's ELO Wembley or bust which is a fantastic concert on DVD-Blueray or CDs. Long live Jeff Lynne's Electric Light Orchestra...

I just saw them in Toronto July 18 2019 ( Best Concert of my life) All the reviews agree they are the best live act in the world and Jeff Lynne is a Music Genius. They are in the Rock Hall of Fame. Lynne is on the Hollywood Walk Of Fame and Birmingham Walk OF Fame. Jeff Lynne’s ELO won the Best Classic Rock Band plus Lynne won the best Song Writer award ( ASCAP ) 2019 for his fantastic contribution over the years.
