His entire conversation with Soap during the escape from Shadow Company really goes into his character and who he is. Sick as hell.

When I first heard Leach's voice, thats exactly what I thought. I had only gotten used to it by playing MP and Warzone so much. But Roukin sounds so natural in his line delivery that its hard to choose Leach over him.

mmmmmmmmm. idk why everyone is saying that, i remember the first time i played MWII the whole time i was cringing every time ghost talked, all his one liners, or "cool quotes" and his voice sounded like he was making it as ruff as possible, on purpose, jeff sounds like he just talking and that's his voice.

I think it's important that people recognize the difference in the position of the role they voiced. Jeff's Ghost was an addition to the multiplayer whereas Samuel's Ghost is a well-fleshed out side-character that difference is what makes them hard to compare on an equal playing field. Either way respect to both actors though I still prefer Jeff's 😄

jeff is better in my opinion, but he is the thing, ghost from MWII wasn't well fleshed out, idk who wrote the script and dialogue for the game, but it all sucks, the first time i played the game, the whole time i was cringing, MW2019 felt real and believable and actually edgy, MWII played it so safe, beyond safe actually, it felt like they spent a day in a board room and just threw some cool mission ideas together, then when they where almost done with the game they where like "oh shit, we need a story"

I like both, and one thing I can appreciate as well as that sure there was a change in VA’s, but they sound similar enough that it doesn’t break the immersion, which is great.

I’m still pissed the way in it happened while Samuel’s is better Jeff put a lot of effort in his character and for not even being in the campaign he’s by far the best actor out of the studio

Jeff's voice sounds like he's trying to be badass. Samuel's one sounds like he spent a life time with people trying to kill him and it's already tired of it

I didn't have opinions on Leach's Ghost until Roukin stepped in. Samuel is definitely the Ghost voice for me, so much better.

Played a cool villain character in one of my favorite shows called turn Washington spies and now voices one of the most coolest cod characters. Hope Samuel get more roles in shows and games in the future

In my opinion, they have very sick voices, but many people say that Samuel is better than Jeff. But for me Jeff is really good at voicing ghosts, and what's more, if Jeff was voicing MWII&MWIII, he would definitely be even better at making JOKE dialogue because Jeff is a stand up comedian.But for Samuel he is good enough to make army JOKES that can be quite understandable

Facts

I loved Jeff’s version it was so rough and harsh almost impatient which you’d expect from someone like ghost but after all the accusations you’re not supposed to like him but I think he did amazing in his role. However sams voice seems much more natural and smooth it’s like something changed in ghost he’s much more calm and patient

It would make since for both voice technically being “canon” to the timeline cuz leach’s voice makes Ghost sound young and now later down the years Roukin’s voice acting makes Ghost sound a bit older hence his voice being a bit more scruffy.

Hear me out. I prefer Samuel's Ghost for normal speech. Loud/shouting dialogue, however, I prefer Leach due to how low and rugged it is

Jeff sounded great and for a time I preferred him. But Sam........Sam make's Ghost terrifying. I couldn't take his voice in a straight fight

Honestly they almost sound similar. Jeff’s ghost sounds a lot more aggressive than samual’s ghost but they both did a great job voicing ghost.
