Jeff: "do you remember who won that contest"? Interviewer: "no" Jeff: "but you remember my run right"? Interviewer: "yes" Jeff: "that's right.....so FUCK YOU!!!!" Never apologetic, never wavered in his beliefs. You had to love Jeff. RIP Grosso

Grosso was probably the best ambassador for skateboarding ever. He truly saw and lived it. He knew it was limitless. And so is he. RIP Grosso

As somebody who's been in this since 1988, 20:00 choked me up. I literally have tears in my eyes. I've been knowing this since the day skateboarding found me when I was 13 years old. Also, shout out to Guido and Chris Sargent wherever you guys are for taking me in and showing me the ropes. And RIP to Grosso. The real deal. One of the reallest in the game. Skateboarding will never be the same.

GSD is my most influential skater of his generation . 1st street model . LET THAT SINK IN KIDS . Nobody gives him his due!? Watching him at Shell bowl 84 with Ross and Lewis . Adrian Demain used to pick me up and take me to Del Mar "RIP" when I SUCKED !! Ended up being GOOD friends with Danny W and lots of other pros, and finally being sponsored for like 8 years . GSD remains as much an influence as ANYONE . ALL HAIL GSD

Jeff Grosso is absolutely right, when we are skating we don't care about age or any kind of background, to me its all about skate.

Jeff was so humble,he was the ultimate mentor period.

We lost this AMAZING MAN a few weeks ago. We will miss you so much. R.I.P. Jeff Grosso! We love you, we miss you, and your influence on me is just awesome. Thank you. 🙏

I wish this guy was my uncle. Just think how much fun you’d have at family gatherings. I love his honesty.

I went Arcadia High School with this guy, the history of skateboarders coming out of Arcadia, CA could be entire chapter in the whole sport.......heading to the massive half-pipe ramps that existed in south Arcadia after school was a religion 1982-1993, there was nothing else like it...... I love how Jeff hasn't changed since HS, he doesn't hold back, tells it how it is.

As corny as it sounds, it would be cool to see some stuff done in Grossos honor. I would love a documentary. He entertained and told us so many great and crazy stories. But its hard to find anything about him now. I really miss seeing him put out new videos. I continue to watch all the stuff he did. Thank God, Allah, Buddha, and Bubba for all his work and contributions

Grossos right when i was skating like 91 through 95 there was no skateparks near fremont, CA just red curbs, steps, & waxy black ledges. we would make ramps but no one was riding transition then it was all street tricks & banks, tiny wheels & big cutoff jeans with vans. So dope. Now u got these skateparks all over with non stop breaking concrete waves breeding these young little hosoi ripping kids...dam skateboarding sure has changed but im staying tru to the 90s era keep sk8boarding a crime keep it 4 the fn weirdos, we're not jocks...the useless wooden toy is still fun after all these years

I can think of a few covers with vert ramps and padded skaters over the years. Jeff finally got a cover. RIP.

i was at savannah slammah in 88, grosso. you got to ride that course and i didn't. i thought the course was amazing. and i also think you bombed it. if anyone deserved to feel robbed, it was dressen. he ripped.
