All of that. I remember the day he was reported dead. I heard the morning announcement on my local college radio station while I was getting ready for class. I quickly called the station and asked the DJ if what he was saying was true, that the amazing & soulfully comforting Jeff Buckley was gone. The DJ and I had a cry together.

This was major shoegazer territory, his voice was perfect for that! I can imagine the final 😌

Every time I hear a particular song done by Jeff I always think, thats it ,it can't get any better than that...and I'm always wrong.

Jeff really is a whole other category onto itself. There is something just so different, other worldly, ethereal, beautiful, exceptional, remarkable and truly brilliant about his music. Words cannot do him any justice…….it’s something you feel deep down inside, but cannot express with words.

You can tell that this song wasn't quite complete, but it still sounds amazing. He was so talented, he would have ruled the rock landscape if he was still around today.

this song would fit perfectly a gregg araki movie... you live on forever, jeff

This song is in a 7/8 time signature ( as opposed to common time or 4/4) and yet it sounds so natural, so smooth. Of course, this version is in its formative stages and would have been a great in its more finalized form.

The original song is a speed garage song, when my love comes down, I don’t have to run around I got you and you know just what to do

@ playlistlerim biraz karman çorman maalesef. Jeff’in konserlerini maalesef ki kaçak sitelerden izlemek zorunda bırakıyorlar insanı. Telif atmasına bir şey demiyorum da madem telif atacaksın sen de videoyu at da insanlar yayınlamak zorunda kalmasın. Misal Chicago konserini kesit kesit yayınlamışlar ancak birçok şarkısını dinleyemiyoruz, oradan buradan bulup yayınlayanlara da telif atıyorlar. Rezalet gerçekten.

@@PlagueFlowers Karışık olması çok da sorun değil benim için. Yeni müzikler keşfetmek çok güzel! Şu an "Face Of Melinda" çalıyor mesela. İlk defa dinliyorum ve çok güzel. Ben Jeff'in küçük topluluklara verdiği konser kayıtlarını birleştirip fotoğrafları ile 3 saati aşkın bir video paylaşmıştım yaklaşık 10 yıl önce. Kalabalık konserlerinde biraz daha hissiz sanki. Kendisi de böyle söylemiş. Daha değerliydi bar konserlerim diye.

I personally grabbed this from a compilation called "Rarities From NYC" a while back (You can easily find it online), I know very little of this track but apparently it's just an incomplete demo/studio jam. Jeff just sounds like he's playing around with words here. I'm sure there's someone that knows more about it and they're of course welcome to tell us.
