They went out there in front of that huge crowd, and just jumped on the wave of emotion… Jeff didn’t wait, he just went right into it, and Tal and Vinny they’re floating on the wave, and by the time it comes to Tal’s solo she’s launched. The crowd is like who is this little girl that’s just burning up there? And they start to applaud and Jeff comes back in, and here you can see Jeff loved playing with Tal because she inspired his playing. Jeff’s just ripping, it’s like he’s saying isn’t she great? And she is right there with him and sometimes it’s like there’s two guitars playing solos at the same time. What little kid has the fearless moxie to hang right in there with Jeff back? Awesome performance. This is the moment that made Tal‘s career, and introduced her to the world. Thanks Jeff. That’s truly the mark of a great artist, and of a great person, is when you’re bringing up those who will follow you. RIP man. We are all going to miss you.

And there are tears in my eyes, as Jeff just said goodnight.
Jeff died today and I am going down a KZread rabbit hole to let his tunes soak into my cerebellum. I've listened to this song thousands of times and it's etched upon my mind forever. RIP Jeff Beck.
And to have Bill Murray introduce the band well it's just icing on the cake.
Jeff Beck for president!!
When I bought the album Blow by Blow, I could not imagine just how important "Cause we've ended as Lovers" would become... I read all the tributes here and I am in tears, Jeff was my favourite guitar player... I have his music, cannot believe he is gone Malcolm in Toronto
Indeed, Jeff's appreciation for Tal is hearttouching.
Rock In Peace brother

This is so beautiful and now, so very sad also.
I'm very sad to hear about the passing. I'm a drummer. I love hearing great guitar players. He was one of the best and a good person. R.I.P Jeff Beck
RIP Mr Beck
Just can’t stop listening to the Maestro …Since he’s passed away ,it’s like we lost the Mozart of guitarists..

RIP my friend. You were always my go to guitarist when I was down and out. And Tal added so much - unbelievable you're gone bro. Love your version of Amazing Grace.
Amazing bass solo, they are both so talented!
Rip Father Jeff, condolences to friends & family....

Seems like strats were made just for him. He was phenominal but at his very best with a strat in hand. Fully took advantage of what makes as strat a strat!
What a loss, Jeff. There’ll never be anyone like him again.
Where he belonged- fronting a three-piece of awesome Tal-ent (sorry). RIP Jeff- the best.
Have you ever seen anybody do a cover of Jeff Beck, no one! Legend! RIP Sir.

Clapton has said that "jeffie" could play anything he (Clapton) could play, but not vice versa.
Vinnie Colaiuta on drums, who is amazing in his own right, is really fantastic in the background on this video as well.
She obviously Loves what she does. And Jeff recognized that. Refreshing!
Oh guys RIP Jeff Beck.
Yes Jeff Beck is truly-THE VOICE on his guitar, with his fellow musician an extremely talented musician,- Tal Wilkenfeld who has wowed the world with her talent, and ability. Now that he has pushed the boat away, she is going to, I hope take over the world. Cynthia Allen-McLaglen
No guitarist could have a done a Stevie Wonder song better....RIP Jeff.
He sure was one of a kind and it is a joy to watch him just literally watch Tal play and give her the spotlight. Thanks for the music Jeff and you will be sorely missed.
the legendary Jeff Beck, the best : I love you . RIP
Jeff Beck being amazing and I can't not focus on Tal. Just has the feel
RIP Mr Beck....Arguably the greatest of all time...From the variety of styles to the number of great ones that you influenced.

The "Live at Ronnie Scott's" version is also awesome: kzread.info/dash/bejne/iHdklNmAmpjNgNo.html I was lucky enough to find a used version of the blue ray since it's no longer produced. All 4 musicians incredible!!
RIP, master...
Sad day. Rest in peace
This was the first time I had ever heard Tal. My God, she still gives me goosebumps. She could not have had a better introduction into the industry than with Jeff and his crew. The joy they demonstrate at her ability truly warms my heart and there will always be a place for Jeff in it.

They joy is so abundantly shared with us - obvious on their faces, but most obvious in the listening to the product! This is my favorite incarnation of Jeff Beck - this lineup just totally does it for me. Vinnie Colaiuta. Goodness!!!!! Tal Wilkenfeld. I'm in love for all the right reasons!! Jason Rebello. Perfection!!!!! My introduction to Jeff Beck was in 1976. It was the Wired Album. Hooked on all of it ever since. Man, I'm headin' for back stage pass...

@@EvilSean62 I agree, she shouldn't sing.
Jeff and band were magnificent. Great piece. Love to watch his tremolo work. So different but very cool.
Jeff Beck always makes sure that his band mates talent never goes un noticed or unappreciated!
I feel better thank you jeff
RIP Jeff. Fantastic music, remembered forever. This video introduced me to Tal who has become a superb bassist.
I remember the first time I heard the album "Blow By Blow" back in the late 70's. Years before Tal was even born! And I am telling you, these two were made for each other! What a great guitarist and what a great bass player!
Will really miss him!
That SHIRT Sounds Great, Tal!! 😛
Always sends chills down my spine. Jeff Becks control of melody, harmony, timing and emotion will always be legendary. Those that can’t hear or are missing out on the best of the best. Rest In Peace good Sir. Thank you. ✌️💖😎🎼🙏
definitely one of the best live instrumentals of all time. Tal is cute.
Fly to als stars and univers mister beck...🙏🌌..yes she is a wonder basswomen....
RIP Jeff.... 😔
I was fortunate enough to see him live ... a superstar with a rising star on bass ...
I am crazy saddened by the loss of this incredible guitar player.
love and have each others backs, life's too short, dont hate dont judge be free like the bird ...and to all the beautiful creatures called women out there , your the beats that bang in every mans heart , we love you
😢 RIP Jeff.
Jeff Beck is in a league of his own 🎸🎵🎶👍‼️ Nobody else can make a stratocaster sing like Jeff can ❗
Ahhhh tears....most beautiful ever....
Jeff was just a class act in every way. Just a true gentleman!! And of course, he carved out a unique sound that is easily recognizable---and on The Fender Stratocaster to boot---and finger playing as well. Thank you Mr. Beck
RIP, Jeff.
Thankfully we have videos like these where the genius of Jeff Beck was captured so millions can still hear and see the master at his trade. RIP Mr.Beck.
Every time I see Tal play that bass solo I just gotta cry!!!!!
This curly haired lady is playing the heck out of that four string bass. Her bass is almost bigger than she is tall. This to me is a jazz jam session!!! Special........
How incredibly fortunate we are to have lived in the same moment of eternal history and in the same planet in this enormous universe when Jeff Beck lived and created music.
The best song from the "must have" album of its time. Was no CD players when I used to lay in my bed listing to this tune in the summer. Different times....

I had the record in college. I gave up my ancient turntable and got rid of all my records and went to cds. A few years or more ago, I bought a copy of Blow by Blow on cd at a library sale for the price of $2.00.
