she and that guitar are not gently weeping, she is screaming in pain, and it is beautiful. she can easily compete with jeffs guitar playing, perfect song for this duo. and that amazing band.

Why wasn't this a tv special on the BBC ?? 2 global talents in a venue with great acoustics- such a treat even on KZread. Love the Lilac Wine duet from Imelda and Jeff, even better than the lovely version by Elkie Brooks. Imelda can sing anything including the Mary Ford/Les Paul repetoire but is the best "Torch" singer in the World.

Man, how many styles can Jeff Beck play?? He KILLS on whatever he does! This is the first time I've seen Imelda May and she is amazing too. There's a pair that 's gonna put some wear and tear on my KZread watching!

Yes, he can do most anything and turn it into the best thing you ever heard!! I’m reaching the end of Martin Power’s book ‘Hot wired guitar- The life of Jeff Beck, and by the beginning of 2014 Jeff is working with a youngish rhythm guitarist Nicolas Meier on Turkish style, Middle Eastern flavour and with violinist Lizzie Ball. I need to find that music. The book ends 2014 so Discography doesn’t include that years releases RIP Jeff, you are so missed 🎶🎶🙏🙏

I saw Jimi - twice - Clapton with Cream,a number of obscure greats [like Buzzy Feiten and Danny Gatton } n' Beck - twice - 1969 and 1981.Years ago I concluded that Beck is the greatest electric guitarist of all time.His atomic energy,the soul n' unique sounds he gets from plucking with fingers,the instantly recognizable style that seems to utilize the whole of electric guitar history and the fact that IN HIS 60'S AND HE'S STILL GETTING BETTER.He is the baddest of them all.

Buzz Feiten remarkably underated!

Where was I when Imelda was coming up? I cannot beleive this talent escaped my attention. She is fantastic, and this is gorgeous.

Really nothing out there like her right now. What's wrong with that? Gorgeous, thank God for Imelda!

She's my favorite all-time entertainer, female division. She's got it all -- voice, beauty, work ethic, humble nature, sense of humor ... and she can write a song. Perfect.

Imelda May is class personified. Unlike Miley Cyrus or Lady Gaga who likes to bring attention to themselves with outrageous attire and sexual innuendo in your face attitudes. To Imelda May, the music is the message, and no theatrics of any kind is needed when singing a song. As for Jeff Beck the king of guitar players he understands the [ It] factor of Imelda May and is helping her boost her career to superstar status. He is too class personified. and a gentleman as well. Brilliant!

Beck is the greatest living guitarist .& the most generous . never fell into the the jeff beck stadium band syndrome " always bringing up more great new talent.. imelda is a goddess. together they are white light. thanx for posting this. do you have any more albert hall? great job putting three great cuts together . check out jeff & imelda iridium jazz club. there is a dvd.

Imelda May is the Ella Fitzgerald of her generation such a voice deserves better recognition.Amazing. That old fart of a guitarist ain't bad either.

Quite superb but who recorded this by putting a mic in a wellie boot? I have excellent speakers but this sounds like a band busking in a Tube station. Check out the sessions at Ronnie Scott's where the sound mixer understands his job.
