Daaayum. This is the cleanest ZJ I've ever seen. I expected things to be hacked up and stuff, but you've really tried to keep it as true to the OG parts as reasonable down to the aftermarket audio. I have a red 95 ZJ that I've owned since 2008 and I've been trying to keep as much of it as period correct as reasonably possible, because I love being able to experience vehicles as they would have been off the showroom floor in the time period that it was made. I bought Beep as my first vehicle for $2k with 123k miles and I'm currently at 308k miles. I have modified it in certain areas, but 90% of the mods are similar to what you have done, with original ZJ parts. I have swapped in an OEM AX15 manual transmission and 231 transfer case from a 94 ZJ that I bought for parts which was rusting to pieces, but I got the original build sheet for it and verified it was an original 5-speed ZJ and one of the last of the manual transmission ZJs in production. I've swapped in the overhead console, the Vehicle Information Center, coolant level sensor, Leather seats from a 5.9 ZJ, Automatic Headlights, Auto Dimming Mirror, and I'm sure other things, all from junkyard or parts ZJs along the way. The paint, however, is starting to show its age, so I'm planning on stripping it down in the next couple of years and sandblasting everything, repainting it in the original PR4 color, and doing a full restoration. I'm so glad to see someone care about the ZJ in similar ways that I do. Its getting harder to find clean examples as they've been treated as throwaway beater trail rigs for the better part of the past decade. I take mine offroad with a friend who has a TJ and to the beach for oversanding. Subscribed to keep up with this one and the brilliant work you've done 👏👏👏

I gotta 98 5.2 one of the BEST years for Zj Jeeps. Good Looker man mine just passed 120k, couple dents and interior flaws but still CLEAN. Same color exterior and interior, I have a little more on the audio front with 3 subs and 3 amps. Made me jelly when I saw you have straight panels. I got a few scratches and dents along driver side from previous owner. Still learning to work on it, plan to plus stock it like you!

You have a gem there. Good find. I have a 95 in very good shape. Not as nice as yours, but maybe one of the best in my county. I have a 3" puck lift, tires about like your (30x9.50x15 KO2's on Ford Ranger steel rims painted silver. Tire sidewalls even with the drip line for a narrow footprint. Very utilitarian mil-spec look.

Nice Laredo. We had two 5.2 powered Magnum '97 ZJ LTD's, girlfriends was white while mine was brushed platinum. Intake and exhaust will not doing anything as there's al to more to engine building than bolting on things. Once again, very nice work in improving this rig and cleaning it up. In comparison, I really did like my '81 Fleetwood (Cadi) but my ZJ surpassed it in every aspect. Yet I prefer older models as they are simpler and far less things to go wrong. Be mindful of the viscous coupler. Girlfriend is now in a 4.0 '89 XJ Pioneer and I'm in a 4.0 '87 XJ Pioneer currently. My favorite was my 360 powered '89 SJ Grand Wagoneer that had every feature and was in mint condition until a drunk driver hit us from behind, but that's a story for another time. 😜✌

Nice build, it kinda resembles what someone might've built when it was new. There's one like it near me that id like to have, but someone else will probably snatch it up before I scrape up the cash for it.

Congrats !! she's so beautiful and clean. My father bought a ZJ 5.2 Ltd 1994 in Hunter Green. Well maintained all the time. Now since the time Dad has passed away, I drive her every day. Now approx 100k mls on the clock. Everything is stock. You mentionned a sensor located on the generator which can cause problems with lean/rich - can you tell me more about this sensor? Probably the name of that sensor or part number plse? that would be very kind 🙂 rgds from Switzerland, Mike

There is no such item as "ceramic coating" the polish contains glass or silica with sharp edges that will actually scratch the paint off the vehicle.
