2.25" inside diameter. It will slide right over the cat bc it's 2.25" outside diameter.

Not too bad.. It's loud when I accelerate, but once the engine settles it just rumbles. My neighbors hate it when I cold start it every morning at 0500 for work.

Hey just bought a flowmaster 44, isn’t loud enough. You think you could run the flex pipe from the cat to the tailpipe?

I don't see why not. The extention pipe is belled on one end to slide over the cat, so the ID is the same as the flex pipe. It wouldn't be as durable though and would have to be strapped up. You could probably buy a piece of straight pipe from a muffler shop for cheap and put it in. Weld it, JB, exhaust repair tape or a combination. I had a muffler delete done on my RAM1500 at a muffler shop for like $160.

what length did you use for your resonator extension?

I think 18" or 20". Whatever they had, and I cut the flex pipe to make it the right length.

Had that resonator stolen from my jeep to just like your jeep, people say it’s the cat is that a resonator or a cat and will it pass California smog if I run a pipe threw into the muffler thanks cool video

Yeah, They're right.. I don't know why I said resonator. It's the Cat. I live in Florida and we don't have emissions controls like y'all do in California. I could run a straight pipe from the headers if I wanted to. I would leave the cat if I were you. It probably adds pressure anyways and may cause your jeep to run rich if you remove it. The muffler, as far as I know is just to dampen sound, so unless your concerned about noise regs.. which we don't have here either, I'd straight pipe from the cat out. All I was looking for was better sound, not performance. Your best bet is to leave that Shithole and move to a free state without over regulations, crazy taxes and retarded leadership.

He makes a valid point in that if you value freedom & are willing to take responsibility for yourself, & your kids if you have any or are planning on it then get the hell out of Cali & start living life vs that socialist police state.
