Safety stuff needs to work as a system. In my opinion i would keep all the stock stuff and use it for on road driving. Harnesses are nice for technical slow offroad stuff but the factory airbag, seatbelt, tensioner, etc was engineered to be safer for an occupant. If you plan a HANS device and helmet and proper seats for proper belt routing and a submarine belt to actually hold you in the seat then that system can be a bit safer but needs all of those things working together. Schroth Profi ASM are the only safe 4 point belts that are DOT approved i think. Again offroad at low speeds you are fine, but leave the stock DOT approved safety stuff there for the road.

Came out really nice , keep up the great work. I have been planning my harness set up for my 03 TJ , but I'm not quite ready to do it yet . Rock Hard does make some really nice additions for the factory cage.

This build is gonna end up being a buggy with an LS swap 😂. At least you’re ready for some sketchy sketchy stuff!
