Jeep Wrangler TJ - LED Front Turn Signal/Marker Lights Install
In this video, I install 3/4 inch LED turn signal/marker lights on my metalcloak fenders. I used 16/14 gauge bullet connectors to wire it up. I used 4 LED lights with 3 wire connectors. The outer stock lights are 2 wire sockets, but I still managed to get them to multi function as marker lights and turn signals. My only hiccup is that the lights must be on in order for the turn signals to flash.

The "issue" is what is referred to as a floating ground - meaning that when the headlights are on, the ground goes one way and when they're not on the ground goes the opposite. There is a way to make that system have a one-way ground, but I haven't tried it myself yet.
If you flip those wire strippers over they bite better.
black wire is negative on automotive Wiring

No, I just turn the lights on if I need to put my turn signal on at a 4way stop. That’s it

I have the same fenders and the black and yellow is you’re running lights and the tan wire is the blinker you just gave those backwards and it will work fine

I know this was awhile ago but if you want them to stay on you’ll have to run some wiring to the fuse box. I use my ACC spot for my headlight drls. Somehow I have one wire coming from the fuse and then splits into two and just run across the grill to the other side. Also the connectors are heat shrinkable. I did that and put shrink wrap over it 😂 awesome video though! Exactly what I was looking for
