I own both. But not four door. People just want a jeep to say they own one. I would do. This to mine in a heartbeat!

    Victor Dominguez you figure the kit is around $9k. Probably $5500-$6500 in labor. I don’t think it’s a dealer option.More of a dealer plug where it was purchased. If you never saw the video you would swear it was factory. You know you have money when you buy a brand new rubi’ and drop it off to get converted! Nice work! Very nice.

  • @jeadelmann90

    @jeadelmann90

    9 жыл бұрын

    Norman Murray But a blazer essentially has its bed integrated into the cab... and guess what it's a truck... of course the Blazer doesn't have a partition between the front and aft section of the vehicle but in principle because of the bed integration these two vehicles are similar... the real problem with this jeep is the roof and the portion of the roof aft of the doors... those port holes are hideous and to be honest that section shouldn't extend back so far... this truck would look pretty cool in it's open top configuration...

  • @Dino30ish

    @Dino30ish

    9 жыл бұрын

    Your missing the point of my post ............... I DO NOT LIKE IT .................... Also the Blazer and Bronco , I do not like .neither of which are a "Turck" they are SUV's .The Silverado / F150 are trucks ... Just because is has a body on chassis design does not make it a truck ... .. A truck has a separate bed / cab ....However the AEV BRUTE and BRUTE Double Cab are both Jeep TRUCKS ....... This is not .... ........

  • @jeadelmann90

    @jeadelmann90

    9 жыл бұрын

    Your confusing pickup with "truck"... they are absolutely not the same thing... if form factor is the underlying basis of your logic then your mistaken... ever heard of a delivery truck... UPS... USPS... Suburban Excursion they are both trucks... albeit it the Suburban is built on a half ton chassis and the Excursion is built on a 3/4 ton chassis... There are many facets to consider... Does the vehicle have a body on frame design... Is the frame fully boxed... What kind of Rear diff does it have Does it have solid axels or an independent setup... I think the examples of SUVs that you gave are poor... because technically they are both trucks... but really the classification gets pretty murky... But back to the point... it's great that you don't like this particular vehicle and I applaud you for having an opinion... Here's mine... the Brute's second door looks silly... it shouldn't be taking that diagonal line the way it is... they should have made it more similar to the front door... The bed/box looks ridiculous and in many ways breaks the lines on the vehicle... in fact it's too dissimilar from the front portion of the vehicle in esthetic... so it really doesn't look too good... Of course it's silly to ponder over the design esthetic of a utilitarian vehicle... it's appearance shouldn't really matter too much... Utility should really be its measure of worth... With the jeep in the video the only mistake they made was with the design of the roof... the bed/aft portion of the vehicle is nicely integrated... It reminds me of some of the Land Rovers of yore that had a similar set up... I will say this much though AEV seems like they can make a pretty capable machine... I think it looks pretty stupid but I wouldn't say no to one with a HEMI under the bonnet.

    beautiful - and i get it - sort of - but why not just go buy a truck - I am jeeper for years (35 now and counting) and this conversion is just so baffling to me... buy a trailer for what 1/10 the cost or less or even still remove top and take rear seats out - 15 secs out -2 mins in- - but hey your money - your choice i say -
