You have had your share of problems, but for a vehicle that can take that amount of abuse, it has held up well. I do hope they have the cam phasers, and charging issues worked out, that is on Jeep. For the amount of money they charge, the electronics and engine reliability (especially how long the 3.6 with it's upgrades) should be top notch, but no manufacturer is perfect.

I have an 8th scale (Traction Hobby Cragsman) & a 10th scale (Absima Sherpa) RC Jeep JLU that I've modified to be as realistic as I can. I use them regularly as a way to get my exercise.... I just love the way they look.! I'd love to own a full size one but here in Scotland they're not common at all so they're expensive. I love watching real owners with theirs... Thank you.! Stay safe out there, subbed & liked & best wishes from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🙏 ♥.! Also... WOOF WOOF.!

@@JeepingMo That would be cool! I am in Canada, but perhaps over zoom. After my corrosion repainted repair on the doors was done twice, it came back a third time and FCA wouldn't do anything for me because I was out of kilometres on the warranty. I maintained that they didn't repair it right when it was brought in under warranty, but they wouldn't touch it. If your corrosion comes back, maybe we could cover that? Good luck wth your channel...I subscribed. Cheers!

I have the exact same year, color, and model. However, I bought mine used. It was in April of 2019, so it was about 14 months old. I had a battery issue, which I cleared up by replacing them both. I had some clutch work done, but the dealer only replaced a couple of parts and uploaded new software, which reduced engine torque. I've never had any corrosion issues, but ,do have problems in the rear differential. I ordered new clutch packs, which I'll replace once they come in. Other than that, I've upgraded all the steering linkage and track bars, as well as the controll arms. Once the clutch packs are replaced, it should run like new. Great video! Nice to see someone with a manual transmission, too.

Thanks for viewing the channel, i have been on the fence over the reprogramming for the clutch. What happened to you is why I haven’t done it. Good luck with the axle. 👍👍

@@JeepingMoThat’s great! I have a 22 JLU Willys and that’s the one thing I wish I had was extra fender clearance. Did you only do the front or rear as well? Was it difficult to install? Thanks

@@chevyfan8428 I found a set of takeoffs. They were something like $300. It’s a couple screws and some clips so make sure you buy those extra clips to pop the fenders on really easy.

@@JeepingMo OK I looked into this some more and you only get galvanic corrosion when two dissimilar metals touch. Since it is on the hood and other surfaces it appears to be a paint issue. Hopefully they have figured this out on new vehicles - I guess Jeep was new to aluminum.
