I was waiting to see someone with these particular wheels on a jeep. These are the best srt wheels in my opinion. 🔥

That "hiding spot" under the driver's seat is for the second battery used by Grand Cherokees and Durangos equipped with the Pentastar engine. That second battery is there to help with re-starting the six-cylinder engine when the traffic light turns green. In hemi-equipped Grand Cherokees and Durangos, there is no second battery, so that compartment remains empty.

Lol that’s false. It’s used for circuits for the heated/cool seats. There’s only one batteries in these JGC

@@joematrix8849 My information comes from the 2017 shop manual (on disk). That said, I just went outside to check for myself beneath the driver's seat of a 2021 (8 cyl) with heated/ventilated seats and there are indeed multiple connectors under the lid. None of the wires appeared to be thicker than twelve gauge or even fourteen. I would have expected four gauge minimum if the harness was intended to support an auxiliary battery. And while I cannot say what those connectors are for, they certainly are not robust enough for the six-cylinder engine restart feature. On my 2019 hemi, that compartment is completely empty. There isn't even a wire harness with unattached connectors. It just looks like a receptacle for the battery for British/Japanese versions of Durango.

I imagine you may have already figured this out by now, but when you try launching and the vehicle rolls forward it's because you didn't mash the gas. Once you apply adequate braking power you have to quickly press the pedal all the way to the floor, then it will be ready to launch 😎

FYI. Tow package has a full size tire and same width OEM 295. All the SRT and TH with tow packages have it, at least my Canadian spec jeeps do. My spare rim on my 2015 SRT and the 2018 TH is a generic cheap metal rim not a multi spoke as showing in this video. Also, Valet mode allows you to drive above 20 or 30, I’ve tested this the first time I engaged it. It reduces power output and will not allow to change drive modes or enter performance pages to change settings. Any time my TH has been dropped off, I always put in valet. Recently replaced my windshield and glass company had to take the vehicle to a specialist to program and align the sensors etal in front of the rear view mirror. No way I was letting them drive in anything but valet, but had to drive at least 10mins and normal traffic and normal speeds. Valet mode allows this.

When you went in the apps drive mode, I noticed the engine on the display was yellow. If you had the red key, it should be red engine. I have heard some Canadian Trackhawks didn’t get the red key programmed correctly at the dealer and they register as a black key/yellow engine. If that’s the case, you are running around on 200 less horsepower than the red key gives you.

You must have the tow package... Tow package comes with a somewhat full spare... I think it's a 18inch wheel and I believe it's a 245 or 265 wide tire but i know for sure it's not the factory 295... The wheels look sick! Shoot the jeep is sick!

No tow pkg for me, but it came with the same spare. It's a 20" wheel, just not as wide as the other wheels

@@SteveDab317 my srt jeep was a 2014 and the way they pitched it to me made it seem like no tow package no spare wheel. Just the portable air pump and fix a flat goo with run flat tire's although they all came with run flat tire's.

Can you hear the whine inside the car with the windows up ? I heard you couldnt really hear it unless the windows were down ?
