installed this over a year ago, super simple and still working great....

For anyone ordering this product, its amazing and super bright. downside is the white wireless cord will eventually give the light a mind of its own. So I just disconnected it cause I don't need the strobe or dim effects. Great addition for extra light!

great light choice . i have one that uses a 9volt battery but i think this is a better option and i like the disconnect option for when i take the hard top off

Another good one Dex but i’d be really impressed if ya make it work with a soft top lol.

I have installed the Brawlee LED tailgate light... like yours, it’s fucking awesome. My local offroad shop told me it’s better to do a military splice than use those t-tap or the plastic wire splice connectors.

Dude. Adding the bloopers at the end of the videos is awesome. It’s nice to know you have a good time while making these vids. You da man! Do you think that light strip can go inside the trunk space? Like maybe just above the window on the roof part?

I have one of these installed on my Jeep for a couple of years now. I tried to splice it on the dome light wires and it did not work. So, I went to the 12v outlet route. It drained my starting battery even it is off. I had the Jeep sitting idle for a month from an out of country vacation. Good thing, I have a dual battery system. This is now mostly unplugged, and just going to plug it in when needed. I'm not sure what's sucking the juice from the battery, maybe the blue tooth for the remote control. It's a nice product and the light is very bright. Unfortunately, it is a risk for dead battery situations.

Hey Dex, just installed this on my 2013 JK. Only problem I have is when the doors or trunk is open, the interior lights only stay on for about a minute or so. When they go off the led lights goes off as well. How can i make the interior lights stay on while the door or trunk remains open? thank you

I wonder if there is any way to mount this inside so your shadow doesn't block the light. Btw, love the blooper reel! Keep adding them!

Great video like ever, inspirations for sure, this is a great item for rapid deploy!!! Because I have low budget and my doggy prefer travel in the trunk instead or rear seat I chose to DIY and pickup on eBay so can have more flexibility. I buy strip led waterproof rated with RGBW color so can use cold white or RGB (red for mosquito at night); 2 power source: from dome light so when open light it up or fixed to light up when I want (diode for insurance dont interferir and light ever on); I use a remote with wifi + RF so can I use with smartphone or remote (there are bt+ir but I dont like). Because I don use cig socket on passenger side prefer route cable in the driver side and put the controller in the wiper-box and pass the cable true the already here; the half of the cost was buy a alu U bar with cover (need to dissipate)... I like to put one of this under the hood for work at night in the camp or other scenario

Dex what color was the middle wire you spliced into, I can see that it was yellow but did it have a stripe? Wondering if its easier to tap lower down the roll bar.

Hola What happens when i have my doors off and am connected to the interior light how does the light come on with the doors off

I recently moved into a new home and I had to use my Jeep to move some stuff from my old garage into my new garage and when I went to remove the stuff from the back of my Jeep I discovered a gigantic wolf spider with her babies on her back! If I would have had the led light in this video it would have saved a pair of shorts lol 😂

Hey Dex long time no seee! a scary story when i had my jeep before i changed tires i had those loud duratrac mud tires i was scaring people all over town with the noise the death stares i got it sounded like someone winding something i would get people jump when i pass by so scary to them i guess changed tires it was heaven lol like AAHHHH! lol

I built my own with a 5050 chipset LED strip i had left over, and a ball tilt sensor. So it only turns on when i open the glass up.

My story.... well I decided to install those LED tail lights that you have one your bumper. So I did and I’ve been hearing this rubbing noise. Turns out the LED plastic is rubbing against my bumper... perfect... just in time for Halloween 🎃!!!

The worst thing when I had my jku was when we went camping and stuff was stacked up blocking the rear light. So when you open the hatch after driving you can't see anything as the tower of luggage and camping gear falls on you.
