Thanks for posting.... watched this and saw how convoluted/ complicated it was to remove the power distro box and decided to go through the wheel well instead. A LOT easier through the wheel well, especially since I have aftermarket wheel well liner. #JTRSPARTACUS

Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment. I do appreciate it. We just installed lighted running boards by Boost Auto last weekend. We were not able to remove the inner liners...Infact we broke most of the fender clips during the installation. That video comes out 3/17/24. For us the best way was from the top. Glad the video was of some assistance. Have a blessed day.

What a pain-in-a$$! 😅😅 It would seem that pulling-back the right-hand plastic fender well, and removing the auxiliary battery box & battery from underneath, is a much easier way to do it, without wrestling that fuse panel out, nor having to disturb any of the electrical connections at/under the fuse box. In any case, this certainly was not one of Jeep's better ideas! Thanks for sharing.

The posts on the aux battery screw in. We used a socket in the video...8mm (maybe). Sorry we didn't write that down.
