Jeep Custom Amplifier Beauty Panel - Complete! - CarAudioFabrication
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
The Jeep amplifier rack beauty panel is now complete! In this video I apply the white upholstery vinyl and finish wrapping the cover. This completes the build complete with molded metal mesh, edge lit LED acrylic plexiglass and a laser etched sponsor panel. This makes the Rockford Fosgate Amplifiers and Audio Control Processor look at home in the Jeep.

If you thought this box was cool you’ll love seeing what I did with the custom amp rack, step by step build details in the following 20 video playlist! (Long link since it’s a playlist) kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZZyklLaeaZS0eag.html
I have watched several of your videos. Right now I just have my three amps, dist. blocks, and 6-way x-over mounted on 1/2" mdf with a 1/4" Plexiglas sheet mounted 5 inches above because I also use my Trailblazer for work purposes. But I have gotten many new ideas I'm thinking about trying from your videos to enhance the looks and free up the space for cargo. Thanks dude. You do awesome work.
I love it, looks clean professional like that's how it comes from Jeep, great job.
FINALLY! That looks AMAZING!!!! I can't wait for you to get the sub done now and finish this thing!
love it, i sold my old audiocontrol spectrum analyser when i thought my car audio days were done in 2005, but now I want that new lap top setup since im back in it.
Love it when it all comes together. Great work. Every step was done with meticulous care, and it really shows in the final product!
Holy crap you've been working on this for over a year! Wow!
Looks amazing!!
Awesome Mark, congrats!
You know what you are doing, you are the master

Very impressive!
looks clean and stealthy
it came out great Mark. Nice and clean and really pops in the trunk. I look forward to the future builds
Very Nice Work! it looks Awesome. I need you to make mine look as good as this does
Love your videos always great knowledge being shared. I have an idea for the project. Have two 10s or eights pointing down at the amp rack separated with a split down the center. Then to show off the subs and amp they flip up pointing at each other and showing the amp rack. That may be tough for many people but you could totally do it!
NICE! 👌👌👌👌

Daamn, i have to sub u dude. So Good videos! Nice work, keep it up!
Amazing! Lots of hours and hard work put in right there! Going to try to build a ported box for two kicker solo l7’s here shortly. Hopefully it meets ur standards!?
Damn boy, you got skills, nice
I would suggest making the cover from acrylic that way you can still see it and it would be strong enough to hold common groceries. I love your work man.
I decided to support via patreon. Dude's videos are priceless.

have a Jeep just like that, really curious about the subwoofer build, don't know if you have made a video on that yet or not..but definitely can't wait to see it

2019 and I'm just now seeing this series. It does look nice, but if I'm being honest--the trim ring over-hanging the cut-outs along that one side would bother me to the point of redoing it...if I had his skills lol.
That looks excellent. Great contrast and design... and no wrinkles in the vynl. But for a Jeep?
IMO, it looks _ucking awesome

+Paul Gale underscoring awesome!
Whats holding the silver trim ring in? Love your attention to detail and your videos! Thanks!
Hey mark, you may have already answered this in another video, but is there any fundamental reason you went for an AudioControl DSP rather than a 3Sixty.3 (since the build is sponsored by Rockford and all)?
Stack fab enclosure? Cant wait to see you finish up! what a great project! AAA+++ super Yob my friend

Great job mark! Looks sweet! Do you have any vids on doing the led lighting and mesh work?

the sub would look good in the tailgate. you could somewhat mirror the amp rack beuty panel.
Are you...using Tesa tape to cover a wound in your finger? lol. Awesome work, Mark! I can't even work around with cloth haha. Keep up the good work!
I always start when wrapping a panel with any material in the corners. Then work the wrinkles out from that corner towards the other corners.
Ok, one last question Mark, what did you pay or should someone expect to pay for laser cut or engraved acrylic like you got?
looks great! how did you fasten down the silver trim ring?

Looks great! Now get that sub in there lol
Hey Mark, led facing up in your vids. Have you had success with this with letters or do you fire the LEDs into the design from sides instead? Just want to know your results from experimenting through the years.
@CarAudioFabrication

+Vic Orlando I fire from the sides, check out my back lighting video on my channel

I did watch your video but don't recall a side fire. Thanks for reply.
Would the contact adhesive bleed through onto white fabric?
How do you make the led lights follow blink to the beat?
Do not end with cut against a corner. Just make there a little curve. This will prevent from further cracking of material ( upholstery )
Man neon green would have looked really good . Or hit that white with glow in the dark so it glows with the leds
I have a 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe third row seating I want to keep the third row seating could you build me a sub box
Heat issues?
How do you make the lettering on the acrylic?
@CarAudioFabrication
7 жыл бұрын
+airules99 I had it laser etched
@airules99
7 жыл бұрын
And was the acrylic already black or is that a wrap on it
Could you do another car build
How much for this work?
@VicOrlando
6 жыл бұрын
Francisco Javier Guerra Montero thousands usually. These things take so many hours to lay out, design, cut, dry. Materials average a few hundred dollars. $1500-$2k for most projects (starters) all really depends
K, who else came for the Jeep install, and ended up with Router Lessons?.. 😂
I want to hear that sub
hey Mark why ? don't you ever cool your amps????? with all that perfection dont it get hot!!?
@VicOrlando
6 жыл бұрын
chevyboy Flores he doesn't enclose the amps for the most part I'm sure. Most devices operate in the 120 max range before thermal shut off
Been watching this for awhile, just does not belong in a Jeep though. It does look really nice though.
can you make me one, I don't think i will find anyone who can do this.
heat it up mate ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
First☺
