I have a Compass sport manual used primarily for highways (90% of km on highways) and it returns 16 kmpl. This is not a car for office commute even in AT variant.

I have a compass Diesel Model S AT 4x4. By tank to tank method I have got Highway fuel efficiency of around 17KM. This is from Ahmedabad to Nashik, roughly around 450km. Average speed of 71km, including driving in Ahmedabad City, some ghat section. Also, the difference between MID display FE and Tank to Tank was 0.9Km. In your case it's coming around 2.06KM, 8 bit surprised.

If you have money and like the Torquey Diesel then buy it, don't worry about people telling value for money shit and all. Enjoy things when you have the chance, in near future there won't be Diesel cars 😢 C5 Aircroas Diesel is a much more awesome and more comfortable ride compared to this one if you have that kind of budget. Sir 5 seater cars me 2 L engine ki koi jarurat nahi Hai. Log faltu ne power ke piche bhag rahe hai. Itna power ka real life me koi use hi nahi Hai.
