Jeep Badge of Honor Arizona - Backway to Crown King and Table Mesa Trail Guide and Review 4k UHD

Jeep Badge of Honor Trails Series:
Looking for information on the Backway to Crown King or Table Mesa Trails and want to get your badges. Check out our adventure as we travel across the United States as we hit 20+ Badge of honor trails in just 2 short weeks. Our first stop is Arizona where we explore and provide a trail review and trail guide for both trails before heading to Texas.
This was an exciting adventure as Joshua Noesser from TrailsOffroad and the crew takes their JL"s out across the country for adventure, overlanding, rock crawling, 4wheeling, and adventure. They drive their ‪@GenRightOffRoad‬ Jeeps, equipped with ‪@falkentire‬, ‪@RacelineWheelsOfficial‬, RockJock4x4, and with ‪@Trailsoffroad‬ guides up what some say are hard trails. This is a must-watch and in the Top 5 trails.

    Great video! I loved hearing the history of the area from the bartender at the saloon. We'll be heading down there in a few weeks to run a few of the BoH trails. Backway to Crown King looks super fun! Thanks for the entertainment. Happy trails! 😀👍

    Table Mesa is a 19 mile trail that allows you to then go south to 7 Springs and Cave Creek, it is a 4/10.

    I think everyone has underestimated Table Mesa. Had you driven farther in and taken the entire 3-4hr ride east and then south to Carefree, then you’d agree. There are multiple mail-biting areas that a stock Jeep would have some trouble getting past. I also think that you driving on the trail just enough to get a BOH defeats the purpose of the BOH program and diminishes it further. Most take some pride and show integrity when hitting these BOH trails. Go back and do the Table Mesa trail. You’ll see how the trail is underestimated.

    I agree the east side is better and is a much better trail. But the badge of honor program made a mistake when they created this one and got the trails confused. The original description was the east side, but whom ever put the track in took the west side. That is how it ended up being the west side. I thought it would have been corrected by now but last time we talked 2019-2020 ish, it was more it connects to other great trails vs getting it flipped to the east side. I wish it was the east side, i have ran part of it and it was a great drive.

    Liked this vid. Arizona has so much all over the state to wheel. Every region has trails either Overland type or Hardcore crawling type and I'd like to get out there more often. Will be watching for the next vid to hit the air.

    Next time check your map. The Table Mesa trail is on the east side of the highway, you were on the west side. You missed a great trail.

    Yeah, when Jeep initially released the trail. The GPX didn't line up with the east side which is the trail I through they wanted but had the east side as the starting point. After a few phone calls, it was discovered they did the wrong side of the trail unfortunately. But I agree, I have heard amazing things of the east side and I was told it is 100% worth doing.

    how would you compare the shelf roads here verses the Black Bear Pass? I watched Trailrecon do a video on that and he showed a view of it zig zagging down the whole mountain! They were doing some 3 point and 5 point turns on some of it. Brad said he would probably never come back to it but it was one he could take off his list lol.

  • @JeepAdventures

    This trail is way easier. They are narrow but when going up the passenger is on the shelf side where it is narrow. But no zig zags. There is no turn that requires backing up. This is a great trail and I don't see anyone getting scared or worried doing this trail.

    How would a stock JL rubicon do on this trail in your opinion?

  • @JeepAdventures

    @JeepAdventures

    2 жыл бұрын

    It could do it depending if you have steps. The one rock spot you see the Orange JL just missing the rock sliders is the hardest spot. A rock might have to be put down to give it a little ground clearance if needed. The orange JL was stock with slightly larger tires.

    You sent the wrong way on Table Mesa… go East…

  • @JeepAdventures

    @JeepAdventures

    Жыл бұрын

    So yes I agree that is the better way. But Jeep made a mistake when they created this trail. The track showed the east side but the check in location is the west side along with the trail name. FYI - east side is a different trail name. The reason for that is one is BLM and the other is Forest. If you are going to go up there, I would recommend running the east side as it is a much better trail. But sadly if you are hunting for badges, its just the west side for now till they fix it. Which I hope they change it soon.

    Ummm... You didn't actually do Table Mesa. It goes for 20 miles and takes you to the north side of Cave Creek. It is beautiful vistas and moderately hard trails at some spots. If water is flowing, you'll have a few water crossings. The people abusing the jeep badge of honor by jumping off the highway and driving for a short go should be ashamed of themselves. Trade your jeeps in on some lame SUV, please.

    I believe I talked to that in the video. The trail they wanted was new river canyon. Not sure what happened but I reached out to them within a day or two of the release discussed there was a mix up. But things were ordered already so they stuck with the dirt road... But I agree, it should be the other side.
