Im glad you found a similar header as the banks cuz i was about to spend 500 on a banks header for my zj

Im sure the bank's fits better but for $300 savings I can deal with the little things.

Check out the ProMaxx head Thomas, I couldn’t be happier with it. LS valves and ported, it has plenty of meat for porting.

Iv been looking at those they are definitely a good base to start with.

Just put one on I am having one heck of a time getting the center bolts put back in the intake manifold with this header🤬🤬

It was a pain to get them started for sure

These types of headers are about as close as we can get with the ZJ to long tubes headers. If it didn't make a big difference in sound, i'm not sure they're worth the coin. I was very surprised at how small the difference between that and the OEM is. OEM seems to be designed well then.

I agree it's probably not really doing much at this point. I think I will end up making my own 1-5/8 header at some point. But until I get a cam in it and get the head ported I don't think it would do anything the exhaust ports on the head are tiny

Nice video my dude where do you get your jeep parts from because I find quadratic is a little expensive and where did you get the little intercooler from

So far my cheap knock off header is doing well. It's only been about a year but IV abused the jeep alot and so far no problems.

i have the same setup but my throttle body keeps throwing up black smoke and car wont stay started i have to keep giving it gas to start it.

Compression check. Could be a lot of things. Bent valve or blown head gasket timing chain loose enough it jumped a couple teeth anything is possible.

@@thomasbeyer where the 02 ports are on the new stainless steel headers can not have anything screwed into them. When I plug in the 02 sensors it restricts air and the engine can not breathe so when I leave those ports open the engine starts fine.

@@ochocinco2030 I would make sure all the exhaust ports are open if you got an ebay header it's possible something's plugged somewhere it shouldn't be.

IV got no idea. Mine passed but I don't live in California. So it's just a OBD2 test
