Those Jedi deserved it. The had the perfect opportunity to understand what happened to the Exile, but instead they blamed her for bringing about the death of all Jedi and the Force. The arrogance.

Sigurd Torvaldsson Zez-Kai Ell did too. In fact, when you talk to him on Nar Shaddaa he seemed to realize more-so than Kavar that they royally fucked up somewhere (and the fact that he basically turned around and said "Nope, it's all your fault" when you gather them all on Dantooine irritates the hell out of me). Kavar realized they fucked to a lesser extent, but he and the Exile were apparently friends, so the fact that he turned around and said "Nope, it's your fault" is like a stab in the back. As for Vrook, well, I've hated him since KotOR I, so fuck him.

+HEXcellerate Agreed, unlike other Star Wars games like Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy and The Force Unleashed i don't feel bad at all playing a dark side character and killing all the Jedi Masters or even being a light side character and killing the Jedi Masters. Because most Jedi Masters other than maybe Master Zez-Kai Ell were very arrogant and/or Paranoid and even complete assholes(looking at you Vrook), if Master Yoda was alive in this time he would be facepalming during this scene and bashing his head against the wall. "How could hope to know the threat you face, when you have never walked in the dark places of the Galaxy, faced war and death on such a scale?! If you had travled far enough rather than waiting for the echo to reach you, perhaps you would have seen it for what it was." - Kreia, which actions pretty much saved the galaxy from certain doom.

The sad part is that they did a set up for third part... It was supposed to be Revan and Exile joining forces to battle the unknown new power coming from beyond the edge of their galaxy... sort of like Mass Effect was. It could have been the best game ever :( I'm so sad.

​@@MrKosobi It was because many kids those days came to the forums with question: "Who killed Laura Palmer?"... oh, sorry... "Where Revan wanders now?" Those kids didn't ever read a book. They didn't realize what happened to Revan so the game producers decided to proceed making money. Thanks God there was no KOTOR 3 and no "new power". For those who did not understand the story line of the original KOTOR I say go read some book, Dostoevsky maybe. Then you will need no explanation of what happened to Revan.

The Jedi council are not only displaying arrogance but also a deep seated fear of the events of The Great Sith War with Exar Kun, and the event's that followed. In this fear they twisted it to arrogance and with it an air of sanctimoniousness in their own actions. In it's own way, they fell, and it is a quiet thing to fall.

Canon wise she was cut off from her power like the exile. At this point she was probably just holding herself back because she wanted to make her move when they were all gathered in one place. Gameplay well she should have the highest force bar of everyone so just make her spam her powers.

Its not kreia who is strong its the Jedi who are weak who decided to ignore the world arround them.

Arrogance, impotence, and cruelty. Arrogance: the Jedi admit that they do not understand the Force, yet are arrogant enough to use it to play God by cutting people off from it. Impotence: when the Galaxy crumbles beneath them, the Jedi decide to wait and see what happens. Such was also the case in Attack of the Clones, and that was what caused many of the Republic systems to cheer for both the clone troopers and formation of the Empire. Cruelty: In their arrogant view that Meetra was beyond hope, they cruelly attempted to cut her off from the Force.

By the Force how I HATED that part.... when I meet all those masters (except Vash since I never get the droid planet so she died on Korriban) they welcomed me back with almost open hands... until that freaking "reunion" in the enclave... no matter if you are at that moment a walking essence of the Light Side or borderline psychotic Sith the outcome is ALWAYS the same... leaving me with a question... why did i saved thier sorry three letters if at the critical moment they show me a middle finger? Are Jedi really SO STUPID and BLIND to not see that Jedi Code *COULD BE WRONG* in many aspects and it's *OVER FUNDAMENTALISTIC INTERPRETATION* might be a straight road to DISASTER?.. o_O

That's the point. It's called a deconstruction, it takes apart the traditional elements of an RPG and forces them to serve the story. It's a brilliant line, imo.

that's why this games writing kicks ass, it explains everything from starting as weak and shitty, to how you get stronger and gain xp

Vash’s death made me bawl so loud that Revan died! Vrook’s death made me cough while laughing.

In my light-sided, canon playthrough I could not save Master Vash on M4-78. She was killed by M4-78 and there is nothig you can do about it. This really made me go nuts because playing through M4-78 is tedious as fuck, and after enduring this for some hours just to save Master Vash, after she is saved, she is just killed off. WTF?

Wow, thank you for posting this! It really adds a lot more depth to what really happened to the Exile. One thing though. Poor Vash. Kreia scolded the other three, but kept silent about Vash, who had mostly kept silent, herself. Still, she paid for just being there.

played this with the Extended Enclave Mod and it seems that exile brings on basically a reformation of the order via Kreia's manipulation.

kreia was revans first master and whe revan had nothing to learn from her hes went in search of many masters he learned everithing he could from them and at last he returned to kreia to know how to leave the order how to leave the jedi forever

It is so obvious that Kreia intervened since cutting off the Exile's connection to the Force would have done the same to Kreia.

@davidwie Well kotor 2 production was rushed, so Obsidian had to cut alot of content, like the droid planet M4-78, where Master Vash would have been hiding. When it was cut, they made it so Vash was dead. I think people found the cut content and started to restore it really just have a new areas, people and alot more to play

The subtitles say she but the audio says he.

I fucking hated how arrogant the Jedi were in the kotor storyline that's probably why they didn't survive.. The Jedi afterwards were much better :)

The Jedi afterwards were just as bad, if not worse. They were generals in a war, even though they say that they're not soldiers. They killed sentients with flame-throwers, yet say that they fight for peace. The Jedi are as evil as the Sith, they just don't admit it.

And the Jedi council once again shows how little they really know. Council: We cannot fight this threat so we will hide. Exile: Just watch, by the end of this game I'll have killed three sith lords! Council: That's ridiculous! Exile: Oh yeah, and all of you will be dead before this cut scene is finished. Council: Wait what?

Great! Hopefully I'll see something like this when I get to Dantooine.

I still don't know how save Lonna Vash.

HawaiiKnut Yeah she dies on MR-78 because she's not supposed to be on Dantooine. If she still died on Korriban, then either something wrong happened to the mod or you had already met the other three masters, doing that also negates the mod.

the scene that was shown never got to the smoothin stage. It was adjusted since M4-78 and thus 1 jedi master was left out. thats why you see and hear a lot of bugs

How did you have vash survive though. When I did M4-78, I saved Vash only for her and her padawan to be killed by M4-78. How did you have Master Vash live?

Wait the is a 4th Jedi master to be found? Where did you find her??

@JM1980s the funny part is after i saw your comment i played some Dragon Age Origins and when Duncan wanted to recruit me there was a dialogue option saying "A Grey Warden? This is madness!"

I loved getting to see the extra attacks kreia infliicted on the other masters much better than the original scene!

I'm actually a little disappointed that this wasn't preserved in the RCM-compatible M4-78EP. Has anyone managed to make a tweak to do that?

Is there any to fight all of the Jedi masters here? I know you could fight some of them if you just kill one, but can you fight them all at the same time?

+Kibby116 If you save them all you won't get a chance to fight them, if you have killed one of them before you will have to fight the rest of them on Dantooine.

@Jartarf he wasnt kept in the crystal cave until the point that the exiles come across him, he probably just retreated to the Enclave sublevel which is intact by KOTOR 2 during the bombing

Awesome. However, why does Lonna Vash's mouth only move a little when she spoke? Didn't the modders use the Lip Sync Editor on her face to match the dialog? Or was it simply model limitations?

As I've said, this is a follow up to my M4-78 vid. On M4-78 (a modded planet), you find Vash alive, and can free her or kill her. I freed her, and thus, she showed up on Dantooine with the other masters.

In the real version of the restored content mod combined with the M478 mod Vash ends up dead just like in the original version where she dies on Korriban. Several of the lines in the video appear to be cut from previous lines in the game (such as the "she deserves to know the truth" line being cut from the exile's trial on Courasant in that recording early in the game). This is all under the assumption you are playing on the lightside

Most likely because Obsidion simply didn't have time to record her lines. Most of the lines in TSLRCM are taken from the game files, lines that were recorded but never implemented. Vash most likely didn't have her lines recorded, since she dies in the final cut of the game.

Originally she was on M4-78, the droid planet. She was killed off so they didn't have to make new voiceovers for her on Korriban when M4-78 was cut.

@Foursworn Yep. Vash did nothing... and doing nothing is apathy... and, like the vision of Kreia says in the tomb on Korriban, apathy is death. What the Masters were going to do to the Exile was overly harsh and just plain wrong. They being Jedi should have known this. Vash or any of the other Masters should have spoken out against what was happening, but didn't. Vash paid the price for her silence! :p

its a pc mod, m4-78 was cutt and the originally was where you are supposed to find Master Vash...dunno about corrusant though :P

Actually Master Vash is supposed to die trying to save you from Sion on Korriban or M4 .

6:50 is why this game is amazing.

i always liked Kavar... thats why on Dark Side i kill all the masters except him! but i kill him at the enclave... so it kinda renders the not killing him thing redundant

an Echo in the force can be so powerful that it can instantly kill a jedi when heard it can kill even those deaf to the force
