There is so much to be proud of over the season. Tonight however, and I might get pelters for it. Albion were shite tonight. I can't be proud of the way they played tonight. They were f*cking ract off. I feel sorry for the new owner. Hasn't attended a game this season where Albion weren't sh1t.

If it was end to end type of game I could accept the defeat. The first half tactics was spot on. Second half big disappointment. One nil down and we were knocking around the back like we were leading. Disappointing second half, we got what we deserved.

@@Ben-fg2hugo look at the player ratings for this game, let me know how many score 7 plus. If they did something similar, like the away league fixture against Southampton, we lost but our performance was good.

They played like they were scared of their own shadows and allowed an average Southampton team to boss the game. A number of players need to go with Thomas Asante and Dike at the front of the queue.

@@jacobrivers5728 I would not say Southampton are average, they are a very good side, beat us twice in league and finished 12 points above us. Although, I do think we gave them to much respect. The first half was good because we went in 0-0. However, second half still appeared to be the same tactic, which was poor and boring. It reminded me of the Burnley away game last season. We played well against Southampton and Leicester away this season, although we never picked up the result. We should have done the same in the play off game. We opted to bore the nation.

Try not playing him out of position. He is a wide player being played in a position that he obviously isn't comfortable in. I am surprised corberan hasn't tried pieters or reach as the number 10. What next Jed Wallace as a CF?

They were able to bypass our midfield, so easy and the defending was abysmal not happy with the performance but that's that.

I ♡Albion♡ -Past owner took about £10M in loans & kept £35M from Perriera sale to Saudi. So Carlos C had peanuts cash to spend in 3 windows. Cud not even get 1 of LFC 10 Kop kids to WBA. Albion over achieved hugely. Baggies are proud of Albion & will win FA Cup & promotion double next May 2025 as Shillen Patel will pump in lots of transfer money & bring in stars & give the boss CC new contract 1 yr extension. Dike - Maja - Diangana - Phillips must be sent out on season long loans to get fit. Grady just did not look fit & that led to bad pass that lost the game.

Bta is a league one striker and the midfield is poor.

Been saying this over and over..we don't have a natural goalscorer. Some of our attackers need to be moved on. They dont score anywhere near enough.

Get rid of Townsend and Furlong while we are at it

Honestly, same issue in this game as most of our previous away games, poor team selection and wrong tactics. Players played out of position and specialised players bought in and not used. Pipa, Maja, Weiman etc. a Nigerian international CB who was left out the team, and an aging, slow LB, who was played in that position instead, Pieter's. Too many players out of form still picked. Swift was our best player before he got injured and was kept out by Diangana another player out of position, who made the error. Same goes for Matt Phillips.. Jed Wallace is not a CF in a million years, but still got picked even though his form was poor. Reach had a much better understanding with Johnston that Townsend. The list or strange selections goes on and on. Corberan has done a decent job, but has got it wrong too many times in key matches. Wolves being a good example. Lets see how he gets on with different players, even though the ones he bought in this season never got in the squad ? COYB

You not wrong on a lot of things, but the only reason these players were brought it was because they were free or on loan. Would he have picked them if he was financially backed? Looking forward to seeing nearly a whole new line up.

Wrong tactics employed by Albion. They sat back and invited Southampton forward time after time instead of taking the game to Southampton and pressing them from the beginning. The team played like they were scared of their own shadow and allowed Southampton to boss the game. Albion definitely need to get two strikers in next season and offload Dike.
