Thank you to @zegozego9196 for pointing out that the bass line wasn't quite correct. Here's the amended version! :-)
This is my instrumental cover version of Jeanne Mas' 1984 italo-disco smash hit, 'Toute Première Fois' (which means 'Very First Time'). The song was written by Roberto Zanelli, Piero Calabrese (?), Romano Musumarra and Jeanne Mas. She had previously recorded the song in Italian under the title 'Cuore di Vento' and her hugely successful French version was featured on her eponymous debut album (EMI France).
My version was, as always, sequenced and recorded in Presonus' Studio One DAW and features the following instruments:
- gear4music LA bass: electric bass slaps and pops,
- Korg Kronos: acoustic piano, acoustic cymbals and hi-hats,
- PPG Wave 3.V: several wavetable synths including the sequence that runs throughout the song,
- Arturia Prophet 5: a couple of resonant synths in the middle-8,
- Arturia DX7 V: the harp-like synth at the end of the middle-8,
- Roland Jupiter-X: most synths including the synth bass and the soft pad,
- Presonus Impact XT: all drums except the cymbals and hi-hats.
