the thing that gets me is where is the struggle? one thing I know for sure is that the elderly are stubborn and will not do anything that they don't want to. They need heavy convincing or they will put up a struggle as best they can to not do something dementia or not. There's no sign of struggle at all in this scene. he's literally chillin in the background. Jeanie is withholding more information and obviously blowing things way outta proportion.

I had to tell one of my cousins years ago, when siblings fight stay out of it. My Mother and Aunt had a falling out once, my mother called me & my aunt called him. Once I got into town my cousin was ready to fight. I told him "Stay out of Sister's disagreements because they'll be mad today and friends tomorrow. " My cousin calmed down and looked at me like he was more relived he now had an excuse to tell my Aunt whenever any of them disagreed with each other and called any of us.
