My brain called up Dame Maggie Smith's face when she did that impression. Wow.

I would enjoy hearing Maggie Smith respond to Jean's impression. I closed my eyes for it, and it certainly sounded as if Dowager Lady Grantham was speaking!

Maggie, yes!
Jean Smart´s laugh makes you want to live life again.
Excellent Maggie Smith impression. I had the sense she actually looked like Dame Maggie when she did it.
Wow !!! This brings back so many memories ! Designing Women was such a part of my 20's. It along with Golden Girls had a way of entertaining as well as bringing the fringe topics of the day into the light. This was probably one of the happiest times of my life. Jean's (Charlene's) break through, and natural laugh is so wholesome ! Thank you Jean and all of your cast mates for bringing much joy, laughter and acceptance into a very challenging time in our history !!! ❤❤❤❤❤
Jean's Dowager Countess of Grantham was perfect. Love her to pieces!
As if I could love her any more than I have for 4 decades... truly a gem among the gravel!!
She is everything! ❤
Jean Smart's laugh is contagiously hilarious!
I absolutely love her laugh.
I see Jean Smart and have to stop and watch. She's phenomenal. Have adored her and her work dince Designing Women.

“Two Brady’s….” ❤❤❤😂😂😂 Great Actress!
Jean Smart is absolutely Brilliant and I didn’t even realize that I’d been enjoying her work for years after I became a super fan of hers on Hacks! Noticing her on reruns made me realize that she was one of my favorite reoccurring characters on Fraiser just because she played the part so well! Also, she she made what would have been an otherwise mediocre episode of Psyche absolutely amazing by playing a character so well in starring guest role!

She was really good in an old Frasier episode
I love this gal. She was wonderful on her original show.
LOVE her ❤
I just love her!!!
“Oh gawd why did I say this?” Lol
Very Funny!!! I have not heard science so succinctly described!!! Someone had to do it. Thanks Stephen Colbert.😂
I love this.❣
More years ago than I care to count (1980), I went to see Jane Chambers's landmark lesbian play Last Summer at Bluefish Cove Off-Broadway in New York City. I still remember vividly when the lights came up on a strikingly beautiful blonde woman fishing (and cursing) off the end of a pier. I immediately made a mental note to check my program for the name of this talented actor; it turned out to be Jean Smart. 🙂
amazing impression.
So glad that Hacks is back!!
Love her!
When I was in HS I saw her as the mother in Long Days Journey into Night at the Shakespeare Theater in Ashland OR. The amazing part is she was in HS too.
Take a drink every time Jean Smart smacks the desk!
Nailed it😂
Another fan here. Jean Smart is talented, articulate, warm, effusive and funny. Have liked her and her work since "Designing Women."
Jean Smart easily lives up to her name.
She looks Marvellous!
so good
She nailed Maggie Smith.
Great Maggie Smith!
I saw her in a play called Mrs. California many years ago and she was extraordinary. A bitter slightly tipsy former beauty queen as I recall. Wow. Also her turn in The Man Who Came to Dinner was inspired comedy gold. Just inspired. I think she may have been funnier than Ann Sheridan in the feature film, and that’s saying something.
She looks fantastic! ❤
Love that tune ❤ CSN or Miles
I love her. I would sob like a fool if I ever happened to meet her.
OMG OMG! Finally!
What a classy and beautiful woman.❤
Love this woman even more since #DesigningWomen ❤❤❤
72 years old! She looks fantastic!
She is so classy…great outfit!
Brilliant doing Maggie Smith (& eh Woody Woodpecker!!) You just have to love Jean Smart.
damn, that Maggie Smith imitation was spot-on! if my late old man could hear it, he'd be chuffed X3 he was a big fan of Maggie Smith when he was alive.
Spot on Dame Maggie & Woody Woodpecker❤❤
❤
Those were really good impressions. She looks good too. I use to love watching Designing Women😊
That was a great Maggie Smith
I never did the designing women thing, but when she resurfaced, man she took the world by storm! She absolutely rocks anything she is in!
Gonna go rewatch some Designing Women. ❤
That is so weird. Out of the blue today, I suddenly thought of the Woody Woodpecker song and Danny Kaye. My brain waves must have picked up the Late Show.
Loved her most as the voice of Pickles on The Oblongs.
We used to put on shows in a friend's basement. I never got as far as Jean Smart...
Jean Smart reminds me of Jean Hagen another great actress .
