Jean Haines' All That Shimmers Watercolor Set from DANIEL SMITH
Jean Haines talks about why, and shows in a few paintings, how the 6 iridescent colors in her All That Shimmers Set add an extra touch of color to her paintings. The shimmering quality of these colors add dimension to other colors as glazes, and when mixed with other colors.
Jean describes how she uses each of these colors from her set:
Iridescent Ruby
Iridescent Electric Blue
Iridescent Aztec Gold
Iridescent Topaz
Pearlescent White
Iridescent Copper
The Jean Haines' All That Shimmers Set has 6, 5 ml tubes of DANIEL SMITH Luminescent (colors that are iridescent) Watercolors. Find out more about the set here: danielsmith.com/daniel-smith-j...
PLEASE NOTE: When showing the watercolor tubes, Jean shows the 15 ml tube size (which is the size she always uses) not the 5 ml tube size that is included in the Jean Haines' All That Shimmers Watercolor Set.
Jean Haines also talks about some of the colors in her other DANIEL SMITH Set, the Jean Haines' Master Artist Set, find out more here: danielsmith.com/daniel-smith-j...

Baaah! The paints are escaping!!! Close the freaking tubes!!
These make fantastic underpaintings for soft pastels, too. Have been in love with the electric blue since it came out, so beautiful, I instantly see tropical beaches whenever I open it. Gorgeous.
I have just bought DS Jane Haines’ master artist set and I love it.
I agree you have created a wonderful collection. I have already purchased three of them and love each of them for their are unique qualities and use them often. I have a forward to continuing to add to my Daniel Smith collection of watercolors.
I really needed to know how to use your set. I bought it over a year ago. Now I will move forward with wonderful watercolor discoveries. I love to paint animals most of all.
Oh jean is such a great marketing too 😄 watching her excitement made me want to have those paints!!
Thank you. Your videos are so helpful and inspiring.
Wow! Love these iridescent colors are beautiful! I will definitely be adding this gorgeous set to my DS collection!

Seriously? 7:34 "You only see the sparkle when it's dry" 9:54 "I'll move those to one side to let those dry" *Video finishes before we get to see them dry*. What a total waste of time that was :(
Those are some great colors. I have most of the colors in your Master Artist set already, as they are great colors as well. Cascade green is one of my favorites. I use Fushite quite often to shimmer things up! But I will have to try these! The blue is amazing, and the white would be quite nice added to so many other colors.
Uhhh..exciting! Thanks for this! Hope to be able to get them in Canada.
Ohhhh....want these too! And I love hearing and watching your demos, Jean!
Why didn't we see the dry paint ! ????
Love the iridescent copper and have been using it for a while now. Excited by the other shimmer ones now! Would love to get the sets here in Australia.

I want to see the swatches dried! What is this? 🥺
She must start her own channel
So cuteeee I love your videos 💖💖🥺
Next time I go to the Daniel Smith store I will have to get some of these paints.
I've seen your face on a small screen, and I went back to watch you, wanting to know if I was right, and yes! I'm interested!!! Count me in!
these colors are absolutely awesome, do you know if they can be used for reproduction, for example as watercolor illustrations, printed on paper as a picture book?
if you can afford to when you run out of a colour and need to buy more try the Daniel Smith they are just wonderful.

These are Daniel Smith!!!
Oh she's good. I have no idea who she is and I don't like hard-to-rewets or shimmer but DANG I'm getting this set 😂 I hate autumn leaves but I'm going to be painting some autumn freakin' leaves with a hint of that topaz on [my Schminkes!!!). See, I'm not even that fond of DS (sorry DS, you seem gimmicky) but this woman can *SELL!* 😂

The artist is very passionate about art.
I use a set I got from Jetpens, pan shimmer colors, can’t remember the name, think it begins with a C...and they work great. Around $25 for 6 generous pans. I love Daniel Smith tube watercolors...but they are pricey.
Does it come in a purple?
Oh no, now I have to have it.😆
It feels like all you'd really need is the white one though?
they are beautiful, but how much do they cost? j Zieve zimbabwe
2.08 you say that you will paint a color on the green painting but you never done that. I wait for it. Greate video anyway! Thanks!
A little bit disappointed. I prefer Finetec watercolors. More variety, effects and brighter colors than DS.
Thats deceiving as you do not get BIG tubes in that set only small 5ml tubes, not 15ml Tubes as Jean is trying to imply here. TUTT TUTT
