Conan is a class act. He always treated jean with respect. And even later when jean after fell off. He was respectfull and bought him back on his come back with JCVD and jean claude van dam johnson. Respect.

Ive always liked how Van Damme has always been able to play around and have fun on stuff on shows like this and he can actually laugh at himself, despite some of his own personal demons he seems like a good person at the end of the day

@@valenpro9512 there was also "Welcome to the jungle" which was comedy where Van Damme didn't have the biggest role but he was pretty funny in that one. His comedy is usually him making fun of himself and his own career. He has surprisingly good sense of self irony. Not sure if that's the correct term but he can make fun of himself pretty much.

this was such a wholesome interview. i remember watching kickboxer with my dad and uncles who were fanboying hard, one of my favorite stars throughout the 80s and 90s. and man, watching him ask to have Andy in the frame and even bringing the chair to him, how kind. always loved jcvd but he just went up another notch after i saw this

JCVD made me take martial arts seriously after watching Bloodsport. I watched his rise and fall. We all have them. He's still my guy 62yrs old and in impressive shape.

He's about 180 to 185 here I believe. Definitely his heaviest and most muscular frame. I really liked it. By this time he had stopped cocaine and was back training really hard. He did the movie called "Knock off" and he almost looked like a bodybuilder.

I love that he got Andy to sit on the other side. He's kind of a class act and I didn't know.

I feel this is right in between his Arsenio appearances where he looked fantastic and was on top of the world, and then later when he resurfaced from nearly losing everything bacause of addiction.
