"Double Trouble" was a fun show and Jean and Liz were completely wonderful. Two short seasons was not enough!

it's amazing how styles come and go, they look like they could fit in with today's trends.

I loved that show...wish it would come out on bluray or digital download....

I was a young teenager when this show was on. I was overweight and constantly teased (if only they could see my thin self now lol). This show was my break from the reality that was my life. I wanted to be them. Well not both of them since I'm only one person but I would have been happy to be either one of them lol.

Jean has a noticeably more pointed chin than Liz. That's how to tell them apart in their photos together.

Super cute ladies..I always found it strange how they decided to no longer work in front of the camera.

Katey is their older sister.

They were nearly identical--but I was in love with Jean.

Liz had a very small blink & you miss her part in Flashdance.

@Carycomic FORGOT? I once forgot my middle name but I have never come close to forgetting this segment. Many thanks to LPXI for posting. But yeah, seeing Landesberg doing stand-up would be sublime.

I had a huge crush on Liz. She was the more sophisticated one and how could you not want to kiss those dimples.

Yeah, it says so, on wikipedia. Liz and Jean Sagal did Double Trouble, but it bombed while Katey did Married... With Children when it was a hit. Also, Katey is older than the twins. She's 57 and the twins are 50. They'll be 51 soon.

I'm pretty sure Katey Sagal has a nice relationship to her sisters, or I'm guessing anyway! Katey stars in Son's of Anarchy and her sister Liz is a writer on the show, so I'm assuming they at least see each other often; of course that doesn't mean she sees twin no. 2 but one can imagine she does :)

If you and your friend both wear a green shirt one day, that would just be a coincidence. There is no deeper meaning there. AND your original comment is a misuse of the word "irony". For something to be ironic, there has to be some sort of incongruity between what happened and what would be expected. If you are a twin and so is the actress on the show you like, that would be a coincidence. If you are a twin and you hated the show about the twins, that would be an irony.

I talked to them on the radio in LA I was 14 when this was on I got to ask 1 question If they were like they were on tv One was a brat and one was nice, They were SHOCKED and gasped "Kate's not a brat!!"

@wossamaggiga I wonder if Katey has a relationship with her younger sisters like Eric & Julia have with each other which is non contact. Katey would star on "married with children" soon after Double Trouble failed and become a big Tv star from then on but I never see her with her little sisters. You'd never know they were related. I alwsy thought that Katey Segal was Steven Segal's littlwe sister but I was wrong. She is realted to these two ladies.

Double Trouble or Married... With Children?

22 year olds playing teen agers!

I came here from Grease 2 If they are mirror twins, so then one might be left handed and other right handed, then that means also Mary and Ashley can be the same, if we think deeply. Since they lookalike, they can be mirror twins, since other is left handed and other is right handed same as Google said about mirror twins. Idk about those in this video but i need more information about mirror twins, lol, but also who knows, only they know and why am i even talkin about who is right or left handed, lmao, its not always the case. 😂

Wow! This was truly shocking! Carson is well known for being the King of Late Night and as being the master interviewer. He has always been adept at finding the most interesting things to talk about with any interviewee. That wasn't the case here. I'm really embarrassed for Carson here because it just seems that he was completely uninterested in interviewing these two lovely girls. It seems that he just said to hell with it because maybe in his mind he didn't know who they were or why they were even on his show. All he could talk about was the fact that they were twins. Every question was one that they must have been asked before a MILLION TIMES. I feel really sorry for Liz and Jean inasmuch as Carson couldn't even ask them one question about their careers or the show they were on his show to promote. I wouldn't be surprised if the girls were highly embarrassed. I'll rewatch it, and maybe I'll see something I didn't see before, but my initial reaction was one of shock for the reasons stated above.

I didn't notice anything grubby...you know Carson...every interview has its own characteristics. These girls were like a breath of fresh air and color walking on the stage area, very friendly and full of sunshine and smiles...also very confident. They pretty well had control of that interview from the beginning. He may have been intimidated by double the beauty and charm " lighting" up his bland stage. I liked it.

Is this an attempt to get us used to being cloned? I've always wondered that

their dad boris sagal was a director. he was good friends with actor vic morrow (jennifer jason leighs dad) , who died while filming twilight zone the movie (1983). a helicopter beheaded him.they met while boris directed an episode of combat in 1962.

Johnny Carson was old school and a bit of a mysogenist, alcoholic, egotistical and very impatient...among other things. He no doubt had ' other things' on his mind.
