Hey Kurt, great video.. The big broken marble thing Bob found is really an early agate shifter knob for cars or trucks.. We have dug several different ones over the years with the brass threads still in them... They come in a lot of different colors.... Pretty cool... Looking forward to your next video....

Mine was 1964 one of the easiest to find except for me man it took me two years to find one. I found my first gold coin in my first year but it took two years to find a 64 quarter lol .

Oh man...I love getting on a freshly plowed field. Awesome surface finds!

That bust 5 cent piece is remarkable !! Imagine how hard life must of been for a native ? Having to make your own tools that make life a little more easier to manage. Make your ammo and weapons that feeds the family. Make your pots and pans, you had to make everything before you could use it !! That would be like us building a screwdriver and wrench to fix our stove.. Awesome hunting, but I expect nothing less from the Hoover Boys. Keep @ it and HH !!

I've been binge watching your videos and it got me motivated to finally try out my Bounty Hunter Gold Digger I got for a 10 year work anniversary. My 10 year old son and I got an old phone line to the garage on the first hole and a Zincoln on the second. Found a 6 inch deep small nail, so the cheap beeper has some potential, HA!

Hey Kurt, first off... Brads trash at 24:31 top right hand corner touching the shot gun shell forming a "T" looks to be a tent rope adjuster... if it is brass. Hard to tell from the quick shot in the trash review but pretty sure! Most likely Civil War or post war. Congrats to all who found relics and arrow heads and field trash, silver, buttons, marbles etc. Very good hunt by all super to see Bill and hear him say all holes matter!Awesome dig and thanks for sharing....

Thank you! Yes it probably was an adjuster. We've dug them before. A lot of digs get mixed up and somethings don't make the board. We always go through it with all eyeballs after the video. Best of luck out there

That opening was great. I was wondering how you were going to hunt in that wheat, and then you panned over to the plowed ground. That is some fine video work there. And that is why the Hoover Boys videos are a cut above the rest. Gotta tell ya, Kurt. You do about the best job editing and putting together metal detecting videos of any that I have seen. I continue to be impressed and find myself anxiously awaiting the next video. I have watched many others and some do good, but many are simply lacking. There a lot that try to emulate yours.........I guess imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. So keep it up, I absolutely enjoy the heck out the videos. Maybe you need your own TV show. Hope you get something for your hard work putting them together. You deserve it! BTW, good to see Bill in an episode again and so glad he found an awesome coin.

alot of questions today. when you're dig these fields what makes these ones such a high concentration of arrow head finds. I know from reading that white settlers used to take over indian farming grounds after the horrendous treaties were made. could these be some of these fields?

Good thought. It certainly could be. It's an early farm close to the water. Always a greater chance of Native American artifacts closer to the water.

That's always the million dollar question. It's always been a farm. There's stories of a brothel and maybe a trading post. Could have been the workers on the farm. Could have came from a random drunks.
