Great video and very informative. Did your car come with daytime running lights? If not, did you have to install the day time running lights? Could you please share/list the things that the SGI inspected and the things that you needed to install/fix after getting the car to register it permanently? Thanks

I used jdm connection for my last and incoming vehicles. Very similar service and same price. His guy in Japan steered us away of one unit we were looking at with an engine issue that wasn't on the auction sheet. I love the standardized auction sheets in Japan and wished Canadian vehicles had the same sort of trustworthy information available.

That's the value of having a good importer. While the auction sheet is incredibly useful, there is still some level of risk. Nothing matches having someone who can see the car in person and let you know if there are issues.

Where can I find a document stating the ECE complaint headlights are allowed?

I'm a little confused about the pricing. When you want a vehicle, do you let the importer know how much you are willing to pay at the auction, then add all the shipping and regulation prices on to that? What would an estimate of the shipping and regulatory costs to get to the Port of Vancouver and through customs?

B-Pro sourced my Lexus through BeForward. Very satisfied with the condition. Would be comfortable ordering directly through BeForward without an importer.

I would still aim for auction grade 4 and above for BeForward units.

So how do you tell if the headlights are ece complaint?

There will be a circle E stamp on the headlights if they are ECE compliant. Basically an E with a circle round it.
