JCB 140X LC Walkaround with Generator Jeff
We took a trip up the north coast recently with the JCB 140X LC and met up with Chris Freeman & Son who were demoing the digger. While we were there Generator Jeff from Dennisons came to chat to us about the machine and how its changed from the older models!

Great looking Digger, very fast on the hydraulics there's a local contractor in my area who has this model.
I don't know much about diggers, but that was pretty interesting👍😉 Nice video, keep up the great work👍😁
Great job there, thanks for the walk round.👍👍
Generator Jeff still hasn't got his foundations dug out!
After working on js130s id be keen to try this new one out . I found the js a gd enough digger to operate with plenty hydraulic flow for speedy operation . I was told the track motors on the js were a soft spot on them but the guys machine i was using hadnt had any bother . The slew however did collapse on it in later years . But it did have a lot of hours on it . So id certainly rate the jcb digger the jcb line was ok through the old 3c then 3 cx gd enough machines .
2 gallons per hour is excellent, skid steers use about 2 gallons per hour
Muckmen series!!
Windscreen Wiper Arrangement sticking out the bottom is vulnerable and will beyond a doubt get Smashed off !!- particularly on Demolition. The Side Skirts are Wafer thin 3 mm plate !!!!! hence it'll look like trash in a year !!!!!!!- A real shame that JCB havent thought it out properly !!!!!!! I'd be the first to support British Engineering - to be Proud !!-- But the X Range is no where near what it needs to be !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where you think about the 220xcv donkey😉
That 140 would look one mint yoke with the spec on chris’s 130

Thon boy wouldn’t have too much mechanical sympathy. Bouncing that new digger about like a toy. Far too rash for my liking
