JBugs - Father & Son - 1972 VW Baja Bug - At the Desert Dubs 3rd Annual Vintage VW Show
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Nathan and Sam worked furiously over the last 2 weeks to get Nate's car "show ready". Well, at least ready enough to get it driving well enough to get on and off of a trailer and into a show. Their hard work paid off and when Saturday, April 20th came around they were able to do just that! They made it to Kiwani's Park and were able to spend the day hanging out with fellow VW enthusiasts, enjoy the cars, the people, the weather and the venue! Sam, Nate & JBugs want to give a HUGE thank you to Desert Dub's for setting up such an awesome event! You can find out more information from them here - desertdubs.com/

Your work is phenomenal HRD! There is nothing wrong with taking the time to do it right. This is a rush job and it will do, especially for a first car and what will be a work in progress.

@@Sam_Mebane Do you have a source for an ignition switch for a 1967 euro beetle locking steering column, 28mm, part# 111-905-865-B Trying to fix my mine and keep it orignal but that switch is only available as NOS I think?

Hey Sam & Nate, I've been enjoying your Baja build and sorry if I missed it but could you tell me the type and size of tires you chose? Thanks so much, Doug
@Sam_Mebane

No problem, we jumped the timeline of the build and released the show video. We’ll get back to more of the build next week. The tires are “race only” Yokohama tires - 7x15s on the front and 32x10.50s on the rear.

@@Sam_Mebaneoutstanding! Thanks so much, that’s the combination I’ve been looking to go to and when I got a glimpse of yours I thought that might have been your choice also. I too am leaving the suspension travel stock and your bug just sits so nice. Thanks again, Doug
