Removable batteries, what a development. I mean, we had that, um, 40 years ago in our boomboxes from that time, LOL. What's next - detachable speakers? 🙂 Seriously, this is a great improvement, and I hope to see other manufacturers follow suit, and even standardize on the battery pack, if possible.

I'm a Bluetooth speaker collector and I have a few JBL speakers. I love the CHARGE 5 and I have two of them in the red color. I wonder if this JBL EXTREME 4 sounds better than the CHARGE 5?

Damn! How they manage to put such large battery on it. I think it's the same size as Partybox Club 120. Wish they give same attention to partybox lineup and give some extra battery to either 120 or 320..

The Partybox Stage 320 have the same Battery as Xtreme 4. The Club 120 becomes a 34 Wh Battery (probalby the same how Charge 6 will have)

How did you get xtreme 4 so quickly

bro you really need a mount for you to have your camera either on ur head or ur chest

On jbl's website they say 44 hz to 20khz.. compared to the 53 hz of the xtreme 3. This should be an insane bass difference

You may like it, but I don't prefer the JBL Xtreme series starting with version 3. Personally, I prefer the JBL Charge series (except 4). And all the other speakers are good.

That’s the point of each upgrade not to totally redesign the whole thing but add new features to help draw in new customers and stay relevant with the competition

Well, we don't have sound tests yet, but the xtreme 4 should offer more bass and more impressive sound overall... It's rated to go down to 44 hz.
