Hahaha this happened to me today. 50% bass boost on and my wife called my cell because she said the floor was vibrating and the chandelier was shaking .

You can see the camera vibrating Bcs of the bass. That’s awesome

I would NOT say the speaker is small! Big and heavy to me and getting it up and downstairs by yourself is a pain! But i mean, for it's size, it is extremily good! The bass really does shake the whole house 😂

As long as the cable used with the Shure terminates with a 1/4" (6.35mm)jack connector on the Partybox end. The Partybox speakers don't have XLR jacks.

But in actuality, the 710, for it's bass range, probably has as much or more output than one of my Monolith THX Ultra 12's. The Monolith will have far more lower bass extension, but that's it's specialty. Like a sniper can get you from 500 yards, but in a handgun shootout at 100 feet he might not be as handy. 😆

It's a really good speaker for sure.

I have 2 x 310s and are stoked. I live in a small apartment and i can never use them at even 50% How do the 710 comapres to the 310 ? Im a bedroom Dj and do small events out door. And planing to upgrade to 2 x 710s or 1000s. But thy not have hole under for speaker stands.

The 710 is a lot more powerful and more impressive bass compared to the 310. Check out my garage co.pariosn video. The 710 is way too big to be pole mounted, so no mounting holes on bottom.

I haven't had the chance to hear the Ultimate in person, but it should be a little better overall. Of course you could buy two 710's for less than the cost of one Ultimate.

Jay I need help please. I just had my Partybox 710 delivered and I need your help. When my music is playing, I dont hear it, but when my music is on pause, I hear a white noise, its not too loud, but noticeable from about 8 ish feet away. Is this normal? Again, its pretty quiet, but noticeable.

What's the max volume you can put it on before the bass starts to roll off and diminish?

It holds pretty well up to close to 80%. At max volume is where it's most noticeable.

The partybox 1000 is $500 more than the 710 and is an old model. Many complained of the 1000 losing a lot of bass output higher in volume. I would go with the 710 and it's updated Bluetooth, app support, ipx4 water resistant, new light show and strong bass output.

you cannot dim them, but you can turn them off. In the app you can actually turn off the 3 different light sections individually or all off.

The 710 is in a whole other league compared to the 310 loudness and bass wise. But if you want something more portable with a battery, the 310 is obviously the choice over the large 710 w/o a battery.

@Jay's Straight Up Reviews will be using it only indoors, so battery or no battery, not a problem. My budget is for 310, I am wondering whether or not I should stretch my budget and get the 710. I will be using it in my bedroom for only listening to music and occasionally some movies. From your video I think 710 will be overkill. What do you think?

@@___jzf___ the 310 is more than capable enough of blasting out a good size room indoors. It just doesn't have the impact the 710 has in bass output. Not sure where you live, but the 310 has been sold out in America for several months now. Hard to find still.

@@landymaui4465 partybox 310 is about the size of those speakers, so that's the large, portable option from JBL. The 710 is very large and actually has a higher power consumption than the Partybox 1000. It would require a very huge, high capacity battery that would drive up cost and weight. Plus the battery wouldn't last long with the bass performance of the 710. Plus the 710 already isn't a very portable speaker due to its size and weight. Don't be expecting any battery powered speaker of this size from JBL.
