I just got one today also and I already want 2! I though everyone was exaggerating on the bass just a little bit cause I come from the car audio scene and I just figured ehh ya know haha, but man was I wrong on these they can actually break a CD 💿 in the port so that's when you know you got some bass!

Does party mode sound a lot louder than stereo mode or you can barely hear any difference?

I have both of these and I agree I never listen to it 100% you do lose bass. I found the sweet spot is at 75% at that point you got maximum volume maximum and max bass because if you cut it back from 100% down to 80% or 75% you hear the bass kick back in but it’s really loud at 75% I kind of like 60% because you have a great quality and it’s plenty of loud with 2 of these speakers and the quality with the EQ on bass boost 1 and the price of 2 was still cheaper than just 1 ultimate by $346.00 😊. I will say , Without the EQ app it does sound kind of flat with a lot of mid range so you definitely need the EQ in the app to boost the bass and the high end and then it’s perfect, because with out the EQ , it loses the crisp highs and lows for sure . I find placement is key also . if I put them a couple of feet away from a solid wall the bass from the bass exhaust reverberates perfectly and adds more of a kick and some volume than if they are in open floor , but unfortunately if I put them on the other end of the room near where my kitchen bar and cabinets that separate that and the main room you get a lot of vibration in the room that interferes with the sound quality due to heavier vibration.

The tablet/phone slot on top is the same size as the one on the 310. It's about 8.5" long and just wide enough for my Samsung Tab A 8" to rest in with a thin case on it. The 8.5" length is also just enough for my tablet to fit horizontally. Hope this helps.

The 710 is available brand new on woot.com for $699 or around $612 refurb on Amazon if the $800 is too much, IYO. It's an amazing speaker and I have no regrets over buying a pair of these audio juggernauts.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews Not too much. Sounds like they are meeting or exceeding that value. You get what you pay for. I spent more on my Focal 5.1 with no regrets either. When you spend that much on speakers you have to think about the fact that you'll enjoy them for probably more than a decade. Wish I could hear a 710 in real life.

During the process of pairing, does both units play in stereo mode or mono (as in left & right) thanks.

Two of the same will play in TWS. If you paired say a 710 and a 310 they will play together, but not TWS.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews Brand Smart has the Party box 1000 for $979 and they got the JBL 710 for $679 and they got the 310’s for $489. I just picked up a JBL 710 tonight but for $679 I might go back and buy another one tomorrow lol

How do the speakers sound in stereo compared to just 1? In your opinion, would it be worth having 2 710s or 1 710 and 2 110s since it’s about the same price?

Dual 710 is absolutley awsome, i have them, had dual 110 and dual 310 before, also had one 1000. The 710 is just another beast, tried mine for the first time outside yesterday, and wow, just wow. The bass is amazing and they get so insanly loud, i dident need to go past 60% volume but if i did the sound and bass was awsome all over the neigborhood

I know you might think i ask a stupid question, but i do not know much about these speakers except playing them🙈...... is it normal for the bass port at back of speaker to sometimes makes weird wind noises on songs with low bass on bass boost 1? I am afraid my speaker is damaged🙈...... sometimes is makes like a weird grrrrr type sound when the air is moving at the back

It may be port noise. The JBL speakers are designed to be pretty error proof when it comes to over-driving them. They are designed to play loud and will cut some bass at higher volume to protect the speakers from potential damage.

@@JaysStraightUpReviews I heard when i play my Encores over 75% volume the bass kinds of stop increasing and just the mids and highs get louder, i thought all the time that may be the case of Jbl protecting the woofers. But man the 710 moves a hell of alot air in that bass port😉

Do you think these 2 will be better than the new 1100w partybox ultimate coming out? I have 1 710 and want another 1 but i am afraid these 2 will get destroyed by the new beast coming out🙈

I would imagine the new Partybox Ultimate will be very similar to the Partybox 1000, since they are rated at same watts. If the new one really does sell for around $2,000, I can't see it being a big seller. That's too pricey for most people and the 710 is more than enough for most people.

It should light up for bass boost one, then get a little brighter when you hit it again for bass boost two. If no light is coming on at all, something is wrong.
