good review! i think soundcore and tribit is outdoing them all, with boom plus and blast. some people are liking the tribit blast over the jbl boombox3!! wow!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried what is the possible range for a stereo pairing mode, for the pair still working without cutouts? Seems there can be difference, I have two Tribit Xsound Go and 2 XB33. and the tribit allows only around 2 meters, while the sonys will work reliably even with 5-10 meters distance between both speakers.

The JBL xtreme 3 can’t use it’s usb-c port as a wired connection but it can be used to charge other devices and it’s used to charge the speaker

I can't wait for you to do the JBL pulse 5 and a Boombox 3 review that's what I'm waiting for whenever they release it

Which bluetooth speaker would you recommend to keep on an office desk, for taking calls? And occasionally taking it out on picnic? Flip6 lacking a mic is a big bummer for me. So I wonder if you have other recommendations besides Sony XE200

Hope you found what your looking for by now but a mic on any Bluetooth speaker that is sitting on a desk will undoubtably have a hard time picking up your voice if you are leaning back in a chair. I always tell people to get a phone stand for their desk. Preferable one that doesn’t cover the bottom of the phone, and just connect it to the speaker that way you can talk a decent distance away from it but still getting good audio.

Love the way you start your new SONY VIDEOS OFF LOL NO COMPARISON the JBL flip series is hard to beat. The JBL just keeps getting better I still love the Flip 4. Nice color on the flip 6 great video as always a joy to watch.

@@LindonSlaght we know that back to the Sony XB LINE I have most of those excellent flip series for it’s category is excellent Charge 5 even better love the Sony xb 33/43 awesome speakers and the famous xb41 I love the charge 3 Amazon has them new charge 4 not a fan

And Sony needs to change their speaker pairing protocol to something that actually works and is more stable

Party connect does work, and quite well. Just can be stubborn to connect. I have an XG500 and two XB33's, and they pair together much easier after a recent update. Sure, not as effortless as JBL speakers. But it certainly works.

The flip 6 sounds more clear and i like the bass on the flip 6 better

Sony is literally taking Ls from themselves. But JBL said the Boombox 3,Pulse 5,Partybox Encore was supposed to be released by the summer but in the US still nothing. I'm pretty sure your most excited for the Pulse 5 tho😄

yeah the Sony is terrible

The JBL is mono that is why it can push more watts and lasts longer. It is not dual channel stereo like the Sony.

I picked up the sony to replace my shower room speaker yesterday. was looking between the jbl and the sony. i was pretty sold on the jbl, but the wife saw the blue and said "thats whats going in the bathroom"

I have Sony xb33. It does its work rly good. I got it for 90euros (new)

I think Sony has better quality, too. I read a lot of reviews and jbl had more bad reviews.

I got bamboozled. My JBL Charge 3 finally pooped the bed. Only works plugged in. Bought the Sony XE200 instead of the Charge 5. HUGE MISTAKE

That’s no good for different models of connected JBLs to only play NSYNC

I bought the Sony cause it’s dual channel stereo, the JBL is mono which is why it’s louder, I have no issues with my Sony . Replaced a Soundcore which had a blown speaker, after only a year of use it never had much bass either. And always had a distortion at lower volumes

Now JBL has a nice warping passive radiator and with the JBL flip 7 I'm very worried about it I'm very worried if JBL cover the passive radiators on this speaker it's going to be wardrobe because of the cover passive radiators I'm worried if JBL change the body to a soft touch body which makes it less durable then its predecessor now it's going to get louder than it s predecessor with the passive radiators covered and I think that the flip 7 going to be slightly smaller that its processor sound more balanced everything is improved upset for build quality

I tried XE200 in store and it's one of the worst speakers in that price range. No bass at all.

Me too, the XB32 is their best sounding Bluetooth speaker SONY has are in my opinion, the cleanest and sharpest sound with the deepest bass on that size. Go check it out!

Should anyone be concerned that the USB-C port on the JBL Flip 6 is exposed all the time? This doesn't look like a good design, and should have a rubber stopper/cap

I have the speaker, it may sound a little bit more clear, but it just doesn’t work right. You shouldn’t have to have it in a specific orientation for it to sound its best. The jbl no matter which way u have it, sounds good, the sony just doesn’t. Its not worth the buy. I plan on getting my refund because i feel I was ripped off.

Sony never put a tweeter on their smaller speakers the XE 300 and Xe 200 both of them sounds super super muffled it sounds like Sony is sleeping on base why is the speaker do you sound like no speaker sound they sound like you are flicking a rubber band directly on the speaker going to Sony Sony has to work on their portable speakers Sony is great but JBL just blue base away JBL bass always sounds the best with glittery no company can beat JBL speaker sound signature and the Sony speaker sounds like Sony warmer weak speaker it's one of the worst bass speakers ever made it is the one the most worst sounding speaker but I don't think it's great but one thing that Sony does have while JBL doesn't is a microphone but the microphone kind of sucks

The flip 6 charge 5 and pulse 4 may not have stereo sound but overall if you give them a chance they actually sound pretty good with the charge 5 and flip sixes speaker setup they sound very useful Outdoors

And trust me I like stereo sound too but you're still getting your left and right Channel it's just all in one speaker which does sound a little claustrophobic but you're still getting your typical left and right sound

Ya know, I side with a lot of your views here. I, personally, don't care too much for JBL's sound signatures, it's a bit too clean for me at times. With that said, I bought an XE200 last year around Christmas time. I've always been a Sony fan, but when it comes to speakers, I've kind of fallen in love with Soundcore, despite Anker's dirty rep. Something has always been missing from the XE200 that made it work for me. I have actually hear the total opposite of what you said, that tuning the speaker with an EQ pulls a lot more out of the speaker than stock. Regardless, I still use mine, though it definitely isn't in use as a lot of my other speakers.

I got my flip 6 for 99 dollars at Amazon.

Новое поколение получилось странным, но за исключением sony xg 300. Она хорошая. До этого пользовался jbl charge 5 . Хорошая колонка была для своих размеров. Но продал её и взял sony xg 500. Это уже совсем другая колонка. Звук отличный у неё

JBL speakers are portable and waterproof I know the Sony speaker is also portable the Sony XE 200 is portable but the JBL flip 6 is just more portable and the Sony speaker looks a little bulky compared to JBL speaker
