HI James, can u tell me, I am looking at these speakers and also Electro Voice ZXA1-90B 2-Way Active Speaker and a Yamaha Stagepass 300. I do School shows from 100 to 200 kids , need a little punch which if any would cut it? I use a

Im not one to compliment unless something is good, and this is amazing! I have the 10 inch speaker version for busking with a bayer radio mike opus and a little 100 quid mixer and a power pack inverter or generator. I will add the bigger version when I start cabaret a gain. I also have a JBL home docking station. J B L has depth power and clarity when you need it. I think that the housing is just as important as the speaker and this speaker has it all and so light!. Thank you J B L because I am fussy about how I sound. I think that sound is very much a personal choice but you all must hear these speakers with a decent mike. Cheers for the video! just put the review cheque in the post L o l

hi. i found a used JBL eon 510 for $150. is that a good price? is it loud?

It sounds a good price but it depends also on mixer and mike and room acoustics as to how efficient the sound would be. Loud and efficient are two different things. You can have a loud shitty speaker that is counter productive or a decent less powerful speaker set up that does the job great.

yes.. JBL EON are rather good, but made in china, and thats not good for JBL because they could build in the USA or Mexico, see for exemple JRX SERIE, all cabinets comes from USA or Mexico. Why not EON world reference ?
