What impresses me about JBL boombox's is how clean they sound. It doesn't matter if you score the BB1 or the BB2, they are impressive. I have the BB1, and it only puts out 60w on battery and 80w when plugged in, but those are RMS numbers, not peak. For those that do not know what RMS is, its the continuous power of amplification output (root means square)

bass boost doesnt exist on boombox. it only exists on the partybox speakers

That does make a difference, thanks!! It's not in a corner, but against a wall. Listening to Vitamin String Quartet. I bought the Charge 3 a few years and never upgraded since I don't really use it much, especially in the winter.

I plan on buying one. To use for festivals so how does it charge? Can I bring a powerbank and charge it through USB? Or through a vehicle? Or does it need a wall plug in?

@@Devin2Deadly you plug it into a power outlet to charge. it comes with a charging cable but it has a long battery life so it’s good for portable use

Tip: Close your eyes and focus on the music at max volume with headphones on and you will feel like the speaker is right next to you

Max volume doesn't mean more dB SPL. It doesn't mean better frequency response. Just hunt on Google, what's the frequency response at certain level of volume on this speaker. You will get better idea. Frequency response changes as you increase or decrease volume. You can notice that with your ears too. Eg: pb1000 will hit 30hz lows at 75% volume, at max vol.. it will hit 50hz lows..

But he got a JBL clip for though and it sounds pretty good for its eyes it sounds incredible actually cuz I'm starting to love jdl no thanks to their JBL clip for actually I took it for another paper 3 clip for and I'm starting to love JBL speakers now and cuz have their clip for I put it at maximum volume and just sounds totally amazing it yeah like straight-up totally amazing like it does not distort there is zero Distortion in them thing
