Hi there. Thanks for sharing. Do these detachable speakers need to be plugged in after being placed on the left and right sides of the viewing area? So how is the electricity need met? charging or plug?

Hy bro!!The detachable speakers when they remain without battery they have to be pluged into the soundbar where they charge automaticaly!

Because subwoofer in specification on jbl 800 weigth less 🤔Because i saw comparison old jbl 5.1 (with detachable speakers) vs jbl 9.1 and jbl 5.1 is really better on subwoofer, but I want newer soundbar with dolby atmos. And jbl 5.1 subwoofer weigt ~13kg, jbl 9.1 ~11kg and jbl800 ~10kg. So i am confused about jbl 800 it is really good in bass, i need your opinion🙂

Bro..it is amazing..honestly...the sound is crisp and clear and the bass is deep..i find no issues in the app...and the materials are premium...the wireless works just fine...the rear speakers are gold..theh make a great match with netflix and disney..it is a real cinema if you position them corectly like jbl say in the manuals!i say it worths the money!it is enough for a 60 m2 living like mine!

Bro..in my opinion this is better..because it is an upgraded version..in my op..the bass is better..and the drivers on it ...they sound wonderfull!!!and it is cheaper than the 9.1!

JBL Bar 9.1 has up-firing speakers in detachable rear speakers, so Atmos should be better. Have you tested both of them? Does 9.1 really better?

JBL BAR 800 is not compatible with DTS-X, only que BAR 1000 and 1300. DTS-X is only available if you watch bluray content!

Hello. The 800 has no dts codec. Only atmos. Is that a problem when I watch movies on ultra blu ray or netflix?

on bluray you will miss the DTS! On netflix and other streaming apps no one has dts, only atmos!

tecnologia dts só vai ter se vc assistir filmes em bluray! netflix, disney, e outros, só têm Dolby Atmos!
