Love this idea of just breaking down a standard’s voicings! If you do this again could you tackle Autumn Leaves?

This is exactly the kind of demonstration this medium works so well for. Great explanation!

This is quite the concept. Do you have a worksheet that lays out which voicings could be used for when a particular note is the TNOV on each quality?

I really like the way you taught this one Julian! Could you do another one with the same methods for All the Things you Are? Or some other standard(s)? Thanks!

I dont quite understand when on c7 and the a is played you went for d major triad or inverted a major. I understand the end result just wondered your thought process behind picking those two triads? Both sound good and an excellent lesson

I'm sorry - I was doing some A/B tests on this last batch of videos. Whether having an intro or no intro works better.

the video people see first is what they click on. that's what works better. but if they see two videos that are basically the same and are just cluttering their homepage, that's when the overall clickrate degrades.@@jazztutorial

Does it really sound any better than if you played it straight? Piano snobbery or fact? Would be good to hear a side by side comparison.

You talk to much 'and you repeat too much. I don't have the time to hear you say the same thing over and over. .
