He's a real dude glad to see him put his life back together
Shoutout to Jayson Williams's father for trying his best to keep his son in line!
Jay started off telling stories then it got into confession & redemption. * You can see the pain in his eyes even when he laughs. I'm glad Flex let him speak even if he appeared to ramble at times. I think it's cathartic for Jay to talk about it.. * Jayson, God forgave Moses for commenting manslaughter and He also has forgiven you. "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1John 1:9. * peace.
He used to do commentary for the NBA once he stop playing..this dude said Live on the air don't waste your money on drugs put it into the bank & smoke the Interest..lmao lol I will never forget that line cuz I do that still to this day thanks for the advice j.w.
DMX needs to attend Jason treatment center
He was about to have a tv career. His personality was like Inside the NBA but before those guys. Its obvious that incident still haunts him.
GREAT INTERVIEW! man, that jail /cell phone story had me in tears 😂😂😂 but in all seriousness I'm glad he got a chance to tell his side of that tragic situation.
Jason Williams truly HAS a testimony and what's even better is that he seems to have found his ultimate passion, he's good, and most importantly, he's GENUINE. Much respect for Jason, keep up the good work, & FLEX, let a person talk a little while before you interrupt, you can ask a question but throughout this entire interview you were stopping Jason's fastbreak. Lol
I was following Jayson since he was playing for the 76ers bc I’m from Philly. I read his first book which was before the accident. I always thought he was a nice guy who lost his way.
Go back and watch cribs he was ballin back in the day before the case ... He was a good basketball player in the 90s .
Best flex interview by far.
Watched the whole interview.Watched his other videos. He’d got my full attention.Fixing to watch another video. This is an amazing man,who is confident enough to admit and own up to his mistakes.❤️💕🥰
This is the best interview in the history of 97

"And who knew dude that played ball for the NBA, would make a mistake on 'Who Knew Estates' and throw it away..." Seriously, though, met dude in '98 - he was even funnier and more down to earth in person. Crazy how one really bad mistake within a blink of an eye can sink your life for a minute. Props to him for getting back to this point in life.

Respect to dude,if they didn't talk sports I'd think he was a slept on comedian he funny and I respect his grind.
It might be random but it's interesting. Jayson Williams is a natural in front of the camera. No wonder he was so good on the pregame NBA on NBC studio shows. Then that shooting incident happened. Good to see that he bounced back.
So sad that he killed the driver accidentally but it was an accident and God knows your his heart. Jayson will be alright. God will walk with him.

So great to see Jayson. Great interview!
Lmao I wish I could've met Jayson Williams dad. He seemed hella funny. Only 16mins & this is a great interview
This interview is all over the place but I liked it because it had the feel of just a regular conversation as opposed to talking points and leading questions
Jaysons funny as he'll. Should have a podcast. 😆
I was getting ready to say Flex wasn't annoying in this video, but then I listened to the whole thing
Love Jason energy from day 1. Never thought less of him battling his issues. Good to see him using his situation to help others.
looool the way flexs head backs just hanging out of the snapbacks got me creasinggggg XD loool

Great Interview muxh respect to the brother Jayson Williams.
Jay is real! Great interview!! I pray God continues to work through him to make people aware of how fast it can all go wrong. The other thing that is real about this interview, is his relationship with his Dad, EJ!!! A lot of love there!
The truth needs no explanation and lies have no excuses. Information. Atonement is real.
That Country voice he got is HILARIOUS! Great interview!
Flex you are pretty bad at this, stop interjecting and cutting the man off... Jayson is the absolute truth!!!

I hate him 😤
Addiction is life & death problem, that is a medically diagnosed disease, in the DMS 5 (5th Edition Diagnosis & Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders). It has about 30 symptoms. Not everyone has all 30, I have about 28, and if I would have kept on using, I probably would have gotten all 30 You can't bring your friends with you b/c they trigger each other. It took me a year after being in recovery before I could go hang out with one of my best friends....and she understood, we didn't even discuss it, it was just known. She didn't have no attitude, or anything, unconditional love & a true friend.
I wish I could've met his pops. His pops was OG Pimping for real.
Flex did well with this interview but have to admit it felt uncomfortable at some moments. I can tell Williams struggles with some of the decisions that he made.
Good to see j will... great interview and a lot of good info dropped. If you paid attention
lmao @ "He Flickted..." Wow...old school for real
Super like this interview, I even sent it to my momma. More of these! #realpeople

GREAT INTERVIEW. .
Jayson Williams lived in 275 Cherry Street lower eastside for many years and after he left his mother stood there for a lot of years after. Great Family...
This was such a great interview. I could speak with Jason and incredibly not talk about NBA basketball.

The first 20 minutes of the interview sound like a comedy sitcom
I just want to hug him
Did he just out Dolan! LMAO This interview is a instant Classic. Best Flex interview EVER IMO. Flex wasn't even irritating this time around either.
Flex needs to let ppl finish a sentence or thought! He always cuts ppl off near the end or when they are about to say something else then they lose their train of thought. Damn dawg!!
Great story & great guy.
Good job flex, I was wondering how he was doing

Jayson is a great story teller. I clicked this because I saw the a big, fine Black man. I thought I would get a good look and go. I've watched the entire video. I don't even like sports.

Drop in the bucket, for him. That, plus youth and ego. He had just come into more money, than most would see in a lifetime. He was 24-25 years old. Take that into consideration. We’ve all made mistakes, when we were young, and had no where near the money, he had. Mistakes are all relative. What may seem like insanity to you and I, may be normalcy to someone else.
To be honest this was the best interview I've seen n along time. He's so down to earth. Just disagree with not accepting tattoos.

Flex kept saying J you killing shit out there. Lmaoo
He telln the truth for him to go do his time and still feel how he feel after the sentence is telling me he feels like shit..most ppl would have a different approach
Some of his stories sound like Richard Pryor stand up.
This shit got me weak af!! 😂😂😂 good ass interview
